A cluster of apatite crystals – the largest of which has a diameter of a good 2 cm – with a charming covering of chlorite. The apatite is of good luster and clarity. While this specimen is a floater of very good quality there is some minor damage to be found at the bottom. Nevertheless, the overall condition is good and there is no flaw to be found at the topside. A charming apatite-specimen from the Austrian Alps.

This specimen is a dramatic cluster of multiple intergrown tourmalines, displaying a sweet combination of colors. While pink is the main color on this piece you find a wonderful turquoise zone at the upper third which adds much to its striking beauty. Turning it around you would discover a deep cherry-red core at the very bottom, which is not broken but completely healed! This tourmaline specimen is a superb example for a very attractive cluster! There is just very minor damage and it is full of sparklingly lustrous terminations, all combined in a piece of lovely fanned out shape. Very impressive in person!

Perfectly gemmy, lustrous and highly appealing through its unique, polyhedral shape this floater specimen is a real marvel. The pink color, especially strong when lit through the vertical axis, internally reflects at the structured surface and magically radiates in all directions. The crystal is in extremely well condition all around with only some insignificant edgewear, hard to notice on an irregular piece like this. A brilliant piece of high quality, typical for Nuristan Region in Afghanistan.

Shaped like a crown on a head of porous matrix this hyalite specimen (or Opal-AN) is especially distinctive in appearance. Inside the circular boundaries there is a knob of cream-white aragonite, perfectly centred and prominent. The hyalite is perfectly water-clear and in a very good condition. This piece offers perfect aesthetics and brilliant quality as you nicely can see in our video!

The large terminal face, perfectly clear and lustrous, grants an unimpeded look to a beautyful grey, cloudy phantom which makes this piece so special. The crystal is sharp and window-clear at the front, getting less transparent to the backside, where the phantom is lurking. A grey shadow inside a pristine crystal of great condition with only some very minor issues!

Figuratively speaking as well as literally this pseudomorphosis is outstanding. A single pyrrhotite crystal, perched on a beautiful greyish white matrix, was transformed into pyrite. Along the edges pyrite crystals are beaded and frame the main crystal. The whole piece is absolutely flawless and of excellent aesthetics. Only rarely have I seen a piece like this. For a full view of its beauty, please have a look at our video!

Large and impressive, this imposing combination piece is a definite eye-catcher from the recent 2015 find. A few dozen cubical pyrite crystals, all mirroring and sharp, are nested between transparent white quartz crystals. Atop most of the larger quartz there is a second generation of smaller quartz needles. In between all of this you find several sphalerite spheres up to around 1.2 cm in diameter. The largest pyrite at the very center of the piece has a staggering 5.7 cm on edge. Even though I have seen pieces of even better pyrite-quality, the overall aesthetics of this heavy piece is just great. All well balanced and harmonious, free of damage and playful despite its conspicuous size!

This single yellowish aragonite crystal is almost totally gemmy with only some cracks in the middle section. It offeres good luster is well terminated and totally flawless. The edges are a bit rough but this is just a result of slight etching and no damage. To be honest, I have hardly ever seen an aragonite of comparable quality coming from anywhere else in the world and I am happy to be able to offer it for such a reasonable price. An unusually fine piece of exceptional quality!

This magnetite specimen is out of the famous cleft found by Josef Papp in 2009. The rhombic dodecahedral shape is unique for this Alpine cleft and a true sensation. The main crystal of our piece is 1.2 cm in diameter, sharp and of typical metallic luster. Being perched on a white and grey matrix that contains several more of those magnetite crystals, this specimen shows a striking contrast and brilliant quality crystals. This is a flawless and appealing piece all around and a real Alpine rarity.
