AC07 - Tourmaline - 2600€
Laghman Province, Nuristan , Afghanistan

Delicate and highly appealing to the eye this tourmaline offers light turquoise coloring with a distinct pink termination. A pink terminated side-crystal at the front face adds a nice aspect and breaks the straight shape. The termination of the main crystal shows an interesting and distinct imprint of another crystal that leaves an unusual shape, but is fully recrystallized. Atop the imprint, there is some white feldspar covering visible. Altogether the main property about this specimen is the graceful coloring that makes it memorable.

The shape of the main demantoid crystal on this specimen is simply unique. While it might look damaged at first sight, you will find it absolutely unharmed and just beautiful in a fascinating way. Its nice to find such an extraordinary crystal on a piece like this, perfect in composition, contrast and condition. The crystals are lustrous, rich in facets and hold a beautiful blueish green coloring.

This is a huge and simply incredible specimen from Zogno! Not only is it the impressive size or the combination of distinct cubical crystal shape and amorphous etches. What is totally striking here is the fantastic color that virtually explodes from this piece at direct backlight. Depending on the light-temperature the fluorite shines in a dark satiated purple at warm light or intensive blue at colder light. The whole cluster is in perfect condition and has no downsides. Absolutely brilliant and amazing!

AJ01 - Anatase on Quartz - 1250€
Hardangervidda, Hordaland, Norway
Size: 3.2 x 1.5 x 1.3 cm

What an awesome combination of anatas with quartz, from the classic locality in Norway. Since it is forbidden to collect in this area, just a few crystals has come to the market in the last years, mainly come out of old collections in Norway. This crystal has a very strong blue color and the upper third of it gets visible gemmy when it's lighted. I have very rarely seen such a high quality crystal in combination with quartz, as most of the crystals are just lose or grown on regular matrix. This is a very choice specimen and very hard to get.

Shaped like a burning torch and composed of exceptionally sharp copper crystals, this is truly an elegant piece. The patina exhibits a charming copper-red color with specks of lustrous bright copper showing through. A nicely 3-dimensional piece with a very much appealing character.

RK179 - Calcite on Amethyst - 1700€
Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil

A striking formation of cream-yellow calcite on a sparkling bed of purple amethyst. The calcite is absolutely brilliant, 3-dimensionally rising from its base with a manyfold of smaller crystals scattered over its surface. Lower parts of the calcite are covered in small amethyst but the further up you look the more you perceive of the translucent to transparent, flawless calcite. I have seen a couple of nice calcite-amethyst combinations from Rio Grande do Sul but honestly none of SUCH caliber! Colors, quality, size and sheer aesthetics are combined on this beautiful eye-catcher!

RK181 - Huebnerite - 3800€
Mundo Nuevo Mine, Mundo Nuevo, Huamachuco, Sanchez Carrion, La Libertad, Peru

When speaking of huebnerite one inevitably thinks of Peru, where all major deposits are located. Large crystals of great luster, associated with brilliant quartz make for amazingly beautiful mineral specimens. In respect of quality and aesthetics this huebnerite specimen is absolutely unbeatable. Amidst of milky white to glassy transparent quartz crystals of differing size one huebnerite aggregate majestically stands out in great contrast. The huebnerite is mostly metallic black but bleeding red color through every seam. A fantastic visual effect on this distinctly 3-dimensional piece. There are peripheral contacts but no damage whatsoever. An incredibly beautiful, aeshtetic, imposing specimen of world class quality!

PB79 - Calcite on Galena - 330€

A white phantom inside transparent calcite, doubly terminated and on a nice matrix of galena and pyrite. The main crystal is complete and flawless. The matrix shows some contacts at the backside but is otherwise complete as well. A specimen of sharp aesthetics from the Huanzala lead-zinc mine in Peru.

EG1 - Epidote - 3700€
Ras Koh Mts., Kharan, Balochistan, Pakistan

This epidote specimen is from a recent find in the western Pakistani Mountains that revealed a completely unique and highly aesthetic "bow tie" shape. Sprays of dark green, lustous epidote form this sharp clusters in a just lovely way. Several of those "bow ties" are stacked upon each other to for this sculputresque, impressively large specimen that strikes with its complex 3-dimensional shape. The top and backside are partly covered in small white calcite crystals. The piece is a floater and in very good condition with only some peripheral contacts. One of the best pieces of the find and a superb example for epidote in general!

PA03 - Albite - 350€
Tatara Mine, Village Tatara, Khyber Agency, KPK Province, Pakistan
Size: 3.7 x 2.8 x 1.3 cm

This is a very nice crystal of albite with a great shape, very good luster and gemminess.

I dare say this fluorite is utterly unique! One single perfect fluorite-cube rests on a matrix with dark green covering (much darker and prettier in fact than on the picture or video). The crystal is of stunning purple color, is clear inside and has perfect sharp edges. The surface is brilliantly lustrous and has a very fine structuring. The bottom of this piece is cut but which is not visible unless you turn the piece upside down (which you would'nt want anyway, considering the utter beauty of this fluorite). I honestly love the wonderful composition and quality of this piece!
