This large hübnerite is an exceptional and dramatic specimen for sure!
The piece is composed of heavy hübnerite with sparkling white quartz.
The whole specimen is in fantastic condition and of high quality. Superb luster, sharp development and, when you add some direct downlight, flashy red color on the thinner crystals.
Hübnerite of such quality and size is exclusive to Peru and even here it has become exceedingly hard to come by!
It’s an absolutely gorgeous high class specimen that really stands out!
A single strikingly red ruby crystal is set on a crystallized white calcite matrix which strongly emphasizes the ruby! Despite being a rather flat crystal it still amazes with a deep blood-red color which is rare an immensely beautiful in person. The crystal has very best luster and a characteristic surface structure. With a diameter of 1.6 cm it's acurally quite remarkable. The over 9 cm long matrix leaves it some room to breathe while being lovely and beautiful itself. An amazing specimen overall with magnificent crystal quality and impressive elegance!
This excellent demantoid specimen dispays fabulous green color, bright gemminess and splendid luster! The matrix here is really beautiful and nicely crystallized by a mix of white and greenish microcrystals. The largest garnet has a size of 1.5 cm which is not only good for the locale but for dematoid in general. Grouped together, the garnets are prominently set on the matrix which has a nice overall size to emphasize the main crystals. All in perfect condition, appealing aesthetics and really just striking crystal quality!
The singel apple-green augelite crystal on this specimen is exceptionally large, showing a distinctive 2 cm broad termination! It has brilliant luster, nice transparency and a rather intensive color which is unique for the locale at Munodo Nuevo. The augelie is nested between sparkling white quartz.

Liddicoatite is a rare member of the tourmaline group and almost exclusive to Madagascar with particularly important occurances in the Betafo district. This magnificent crystals is doubly terminated, very well defined, flawless and with a fantatic color! Yes, the crystal needs some backlight to really shine, but once previded it glows with the most brilliant strawberry red and apple green color! The surface is somewhat etched and has some small feldspar attached to it which adds a natural feel. The termination on the other had is well defined, sharp and lustrous. A marvelous single crystal liddicoatite with no downsides!
A singel very well defined and near flawless topaz crystal is embedded between several quartz crystals which again are set on a matrix of white cleavelandite. The crystal is transparent with a champagne colored tinge. It has well cut bevels on all sides. Only on the base, where a quartz is slightly damaged, there is a bit of contact. All the termination however is perfect and beautiful.
This highly aesthetic fluorite specimen is from a new find at the Erongo Mountains. It features a very well presented main crystal at the top with a diameter of 2.5 cm. The crystals are all very well shaped, sharp and with a somewhat frosted luster. Especially the larger main crystal shows a beautiful mix of green color at the core with purple towards the surface which is easily visible as the crystals is transparent to the core! The fluorites are set on a feldspar matrix with silvery muscovite coating and a single quartz side-crystal. All of this makes for an exceptionally beautiful piece of best condition and quality!
Shiny like a disco ball and perfectly developed on all sides, this is a superb pyrite floater of best quality. While the frontside has the larger crystals - the cubes are up to 1.5 cm on edge - the backside is more delicate, nested and shows beautiful striations. Aside of some very minor edgewear this piece is in excellent condition, very attractive and sculptural in person!
Incredible, juicy, cranberry-red color radiates from this fine specimen even at low light, waiting to explode at direct illumination. The massive crystal is quite dark due to its thickness and some internal cracks but downlight definitely does the trick and reveals the gemmy fire-red crystal!
The spessartine is a complete floater and associated with some quartz, muscovite and white feldspar, probably cleavelandite. It is an exceptional piece that shows the fantastic quality the Navegadora claim is famous for. Even at close inspection I could fine only one small chip at the side, not more than 5 mm long and almost impossible to detect. This is a great, massive spessartine of superb aesthetics that exists only to present its beautiful surface structure and incredible red color!
This highly attractive titanite specimen features a 2.2 cm main crystal. The single titanite twin has nice apple green color and great luster, especially on the front. It is set on a white calcite matrix which provides a starkly contrasting background! The overall condition is very good. The main crystal had to be reattached after it went off but you can’t see that. Apart from that it is in very nice condition and of lovely quality!

A strinking combination of transparent long prismatic quartz supporting dark hübnerite crystals with octahedral scheelite crystals atop which again are covered in bright signal yellow stolzite. This combination of scheelite with stolzite is exclusive for the stunning 2014 find at Mundo Nuevo Mine! The whole specimen is exceptionally 3-dimensional and while its looks kind of chaotic in composition it also has an elegant natural feel to it! Very important from a mineralogical point of view and also pretty if you are attracted to pieces where a lot is going on!
