A combination of two smoky quartz crystals is set at the center of this nice flat rock matrix, associated with some smaller smoky quartz. The crystals are completely clear at the inside and show the attractive brown color that is characteristic for the locale. The unusual crystal habit is that of two left-handed crystals with partly visible beginning bottom terminations and shared terminal faces. All those resulting angles give the quartz a counterclockwise twist which defines it as a gwindel. Beautiful aesthetics and high crystal quality in very best condition!
Rather simple in design yet still impressive due to its imposing size of close to 20 cm! The single crystal is transparent from bottom to top with medium to good luster on all sides. The termination is flawless with only some chlorite which makes the edges a bit rough. The bottom is actually another flawless termination though a jagged one. A rare find of impressive size and quality!
This is one of the nicest pieces of pure pericline I have ever seen. Despite the rather small crystals this very three-dimensional specimen radiates its exceptionally lovely charm! Pristine crystals are arranged upon each other, sparkling, sweeping and all perfect! An outstanding specimen for this mineral!
This water-clear skeletal quartz specimen of considerable size shows great crystal quality embedded in a vibrant etched crystal of sparkling luster! The hexagonal prism shape is still visible though heavily etched on all sides. The sweeping shape shows many cavities, some sharply defined faces and a protruding shape emerging from the top. And it's flawless, however close you look! A perfect skeletal floater!
A glassy foater specimen of etched fluorite from Italy. The surface is frosted but smooth enough to let you see inside the clear crystal. It is free of any damage and shows a greenish tinge. Near the backside you find some spots of purple that distribute the color throughout the fluorite. Very 3-dimensional and appealing in person!
This high quality quartz specimen is absolutely gorgeous in person! The longest quartz among a large number of smaller sparkling crystals reaches 3,6 x 1,4 cm. All crystals on this vivid specimen are of very best quality, glassy and highly lustrous! The quartz is sharply developed and free of any damage! This is a very 3-dimensionally aesthetic specimen of brilliant crystals on a silvery grey matrix. Very attractive in person!
