The worlds best hübnerite doubtlessly comes from Peru where this very specimen is among its finest. A highly 3-dimensional piece of outstanding quality and aesthetics that shows no downsides. Hundreds of hübnerite crystals are clustered together, fanning out and gaining color and clarity towards the top. At backlight illumination intense red light practically explodes from the many hübnerite crystals. In contrast to this overwhelming spectacle a white quartz crystal calmly takes the other side of the distinct "V"-shape. Many smaller high quality quartz crystals are scattered across the hübnerite which even boosts the sparkling effect. This is a truly exceptional piece of stunning beauty!
Impressive size and excellent crystal quality make this a stunning smoky quartz specimen. All crystals show brilliant luster, they are transparent have a nice brown color. Especially those three crystals protruding at the very top have a catchy look and display superb quality. There is some matrix visible, a glistening wonderland of quartz and feldspar micro-crystals. The backside is trimmed but the front is all natural and in great condition.
The luster of these hematite crystals is just supernatural! All iron roses on this marvelous piece are thick, lovely structured like blossoms and sparkling, partly in stunning tempering colors. All main crystals are in perfect shape and without any damage. This is a very fine matrix piece of exceptional quality and nice Alpine aesthetics!
A superb and exceedingly rare combination of green prase with hematite “roses” from the famous locale on Serifos Island, Greece.Since collecting has been prohibited for quite some time now, pieces from Serifos Island are getting scarce on the market where combinations with hematite, especially in such highly aesthetic form, are nearly impossible to find!
The “iron roses” are lovely developed, lustrous and flawless. The largest with about 2.8 cm in diameter prominently sits at the top center! The specimen is rather 3-dimensional and free of damage all around. This is something special indeed!
Among the classic high quality hematite from Elba this surely is the king! Over 15 centimeters of 3-dimensionally arranged hematite, playfully associated with small white quartz needles shows the wonderful aesthetics of a coralreef with vugs and caves and towering crystals all around. The whole specimen is in best condition and presents a richness of sharp, mirroring crystals. A real stunner in person!
While the defined front view is covered in tabular white calcite up to 5.5 cm in diameter, the backside shows a completely different picture of sharp prismatic quartz with iron oxide coating. The whole piece is in good condition with only minor issues here and there. Except for the bottom this piece is complete with no contact or break anywhere. A striking outline and unusual crystal distribution make this an appealing piece worth collecting!
Citrine, the by far rares variety of quartz. Hardly ever do we see good citrine specimen from the Alps which makes this impressive piece even more remarkable. Even if the lower part of the crystal is milky, a large section at the tip is perfectly gemmy and shows intensive yellow coloring! Also watch the video for a better impression! The backside is somehow rough with matrix but not damaged. The bottom surface where it detached from the rock is fully rehealed. With great luster, impressive size and outstanding color this is a marvelous citrine specimen!
This is clearly an excellent wulfenite specimen from the type locality Bad Bleiberg where wulfenite was first described in 1785. The quality is absolutely top! Highest luster, bright orange color and a rich display of uncountable thin tabular crystals. The wulfenite is all sharp and undamaged, sitting on pale yellow limestone. I am happy to present such a brilliant and extremely rare piece from the classic Austrian mining. A great chance for any collector of fine classic minerals!
This is a well balanced paragenesis from the Mundo Nuevo Mine in Peru where some of the best tetrahedrite specimens have been found. A group of nicely modified, highly lustrous cubical pyrite is overgrown with rather large metallic black tetrahedrite up to remarkable 2.7 cm on edge. As a contrast you find very nice transparent white quartz crystals. Admittedly the piece is not quite perfect with a ding right at the front but this is still an outstanding specimen for the mineral that shows exceptionally fine aesthetics and crystal size!
However you turn this piece there are all just perfectly well and sharp crystallizations, complex structures and beautiful details! The quartz is colorless and glassy with sparkling surfaces on countless protruding sceptre heads. Pristine quality is paired with unique shape!
An impressive 17.8 cm kunzite of great translucent quality that shows no damage anywhere. Even the bottom is completely re-crystallized. The crystals pink color is especially concentrated along its c-axis, meaning that an illumination from the bottom brings out the vivid candy-pink this mineral is famous for. Attached to the side face you find a dark red tantalite-(Mn) around 1.7 cm across. The overall quality of this specimen is good yet not great but size, color and condition make up for a lot here!
Atop this snow white quartz matrix naturally grows some bright yellow gold like moss on a dry rock. Typical for the locale this specimen shows best quality and a striking contrast! While the quartz physically outweighs the gold on this specimen it is also the perfect base that much emphasizes this precious metal and leads the view to its fine crystallization. A just lovely specimen with no damage or any other downsides!
