This fluorite is very glassy in person, what is not very good visible on the pictures. The luster is beautiful and the edges of the crystal have a length of 2,1cm. It is perfect all around and also well crystalized at the back. Over all this is a marvelous specimen in a great condition and I was very happy to get such a good piece.

This mushroom-shaped specimen is a fine example for the rare element of bismuth. Sharply crystallized all over the whole specimen with a bright lustrous surface, it is truly an appealing piece to look at. At closer view the surface shows a nice patina of red and blue which makes it very much alive. The crystals are 3-dimensionally composed and in perfect condition all over. An outstandingly fine specimen of the classic mineral from Germany!

A group of cubical pyrite crystals the largest of which is over 4 cm on edge from the now abandoned Racracancha mine. All crystals have a shiny golden color and nice striations on all sides as is characteristic for the finds that all occured in the last 10 years. The backside is completely contacted but the front is near perfect with just a couple of minimal abrasions. A rather rare specimen of great quality and nice visual impact!

SO05 - Calcite - 330€
2nd Sovetskii Mine, Dal'negorsk, Primorskiy Kray, Far-Eastern Region, Russia
Size: 10.5 x 7.3 x 4.8 cm

Dal'negorsk delivered a bright viarity of different calcites. In my opinion this crystal is one of the most beautiful specimens, in question of it's shape. The second generation of smaller crystals are showing a very sharp termination with many stripes in it, what looks very lovely in person. It is a floater all around without any damage.

A rich and beautiful aggregate of tabular, glassy barite on galena. The barite is of yellowish color, superbly lustrous and 3-dimensionally arranged like flower petals. This fine specimen is in 360° best condition where even the smaller crystals are undamaged. A just wonderful and elegant piece that is much better in person!

Thick and well defined tabular barite of honey yellow color on a dark brown matrix. The barite is 3-dimensionally arranged on the matrix with the largest crystal - 4.7 cm on edge and 0.9 cm thick - nicely standing out and presenting itself. All crystals show best luster and are perfectly gemmy. There is some edgewear scattered across this piece but most of which is old and rehealed. Sheer size, color and quality are a stunning combination on this rich and impressive specimen!

Brilliant and water-clear! This is an absolutely charming yellowish topaz floater of best luster and quality. The irregular shape is enclosed by many beautiful and mirroring faces. Its edges are not quite perfect but which is not much disturbing. A jewel of exceptionally fine visual impact!

The majority of fluorites from this important locale are of the purple, usually cubical sort. This is a nice greenish stack of heavily modified crystals that presents a much more rounded shape which is uncommon and lovely on this miniature. The whole construct is in outstanding condition. Very nice in person!

UV3 - Hematite with Quartz - 1600€
Monte Prosa, Central St. Gotthard Massif, Tessin (Ticino), Switzerland

Marvelous, blinding luster mirrors the light like a disco ball - much better than the picture can possibly show!
This piece is a real stunner that shows no damage or contacts at all. The backside is encrusted with some chlorite but even that does not completely obscure the brilliant quality of this hematite specimen. At the lower right there is a small glassy quartz crystal that is evenly perfect with a crystallized bottom.
Lovely aesthetics meets superb quality!

Simply superb, this piece of azurite on matrix shows a terrific color combination of sparkling blue and velvet green. Marvellous composition, perfect quality and crystallization, as well as a striking contrast of colors are forming this splendid specimen. Very rarely do we find comparable pieces of such perfect aesthetics!

The beautiful white pericline matrix is scene for one metallic red rutile crystal that is rather exceptional for the locale that is well known for its Alpine type minerals. The opaque crystal is striated and lustrous and easily shows its red color even at normal room light. The pericline is also in best condition with only peripheras contacts. Very nice in aesthetics and a real rarity for this locale!
