A gorgeous fluorite of very fine quality is well situatet on a beutiful matrix, consisting of a layer of small quartz crystals and snow white crystals of barite. The fluroite is completely free of damage and has a size of 1.5 cm on edge! I named this piece "the rabbit", because of it's special shape! The picture speakes for itself here!
A perfectly clear aquamarine with an excellent, modified termination is wearing a coat of white albite, perfectly crystallized and free of damage. Every single crystal face is sparkingly lustrous, no matter where you are looking at. The aquamarine holds some appealing inclusions of schorl that are nicely visible through the water-clear crystal and add a distinct contrast. There are internal cracks visible, but no breaks or repairs. A perfect aquamarine with its own special charm, good cabinet size and unique appearance all around, as you can greatly see in our video! As a small extra, there is a small apatite at the lower left!
Hold on to something, that's as good as it gets! The quality of these quartz crystals, aesthetically arranged on that formidable specimen, is absolutely pristine and the best you will ever find. Extremely lustrous and perfectly clear. You could read a newspaper through the 3.4 cm thick main crystal without any trouble. All side crystals are of matching quality and visually support the main crystal. The untamed aesthetics makes for a real eye-catcher and leaves a natural yet somehow supernatural specimen!
This is an elongated prismatic quartz of great transparency and luster all around. The bottom of this fine specimen is fully crystallized with terminated quartz and white accessory pericline. Also at the side face some smaller pericline crystals are perched. A side-crystal at the back is broken but which is not visible from the front. Some edges are a bit rough but most of which is contact induced with only one visible chip at the termination. All in all this is a remarkably fine quartz specimen for Rauris, with typical character and a dominant, attractive appearance!
Alpine apatite of such large and massy calibre is not just rare but almost impossible to get! This piece has been in several important collections before (we include the labels!) and for a reason. The crystal is translucent to transparent and shows a distinct hexagon although the bottom and backside are very much contacted - yet not broken. Its surface is mostly silky flat but especially the front face is highly lustrous. There is some chloritization present all around the crystal which adds a nice Alpine character. This is without question an outstanding piece that impresses with just huge size for an Alpine apatite!
WOW, what a beautiful specimen! Many fluorites of beautiful color are well situated on the quartz matrix of yellowish color! The crystals have a size up to 1.2 cm on edge, showing some great phantoms! The dramatic crack in the matrix makes a unique appearance to this specimen, and it is completely stable!
A doubly terminated tourmaline of cherry red color holds a second likewise doubly terminated transverse crystal of matching quality and color. At the termintions the color changes in parts to olive green. The translucent crystals need some backlight illumination to reveal their beauty that lies behind the semigloss, striated surface. The composition of this piece is totally unique, combined with good crystal quality and without any damage.
Unusual, almost botryoidal growth makes this iron rose specimen unique. The several hematite rosettes perched on this adularia matrix are exceedingly thick, yet lovely composed of hundreds of tiny hematite plates. The surface is sparkling in manyfold tempering colors. Very compact, delicate and perfectly developed. An exceptional specimen from Mörchnerkar, home of Austrias best hematite specimens.
An excellent closed gwindel, surprisingly long and with a very distinct twist. The slender shape of this thumbnail specimen makes it very much unusual and exceedingly rare. There is just one minimal ding at the side but otherwise no damage. The crystal is clear with a lustrous surface that ist smooth at the front and slightly chloritized at the back as you can very well see in our video. An absolutely remarkable piece of unique shape!Seidenmatte Oberfläche
This floater is basically an aggregate of sparklingly lustrous barite crystals that exhibit a color range from creamy white to dark smoky brown. The piece is virtually free of damage, with just some minor wear at the backside. I love the shape of a 3-dimensional jigsaw puzzle composed of hundreds of clustered crystals. A highly lustrous appealing piece of barite with even some matrix at the backside.
This is a floater that combines two japan-law twins of high quality on a specimen with the unique shape of two loving butterflies. With gemmy clear crystals of virtually flawless condition, this specimen is a true stunner of finest aesthetics.
A quartz scepter of highest quality, sharp, lustrous and very well defined. The whole crystal is in best condition with only one minimal wilbur at the tip which should not concern you on a fantastic piece like this. The bottom tapers to a pointed termination and is completely crystallized. Some yellowish iron oxide markes this as a characteristic Rauris specimen. Characteristic, yet of exceptionally high quality and outstanding aesthetics. A true stunner in person!
