Large and thick pericline crystals tightly packed on matrix. The larges crystals are around 3 cm long and 1.3 cm thick. The predominating white is in parts covered with a slight yellowish iron oxide coating. Mixed between the pericline are some adularia crystals, all sharp and of nice translucent quality. Aside some peripheral contacts there is no damage to report. A massive specimen of appealing 3-dimensional character!
This is a huge and simply incredible specimen from Zogno! Not only is it the impressive size or the combination of distinct cubical crystal shape and amorphous etches. What is totally striking here is the fantastic color that virtually explodes from this piece at direct backlight. Depending on the light-temperature the fluorite shines in a dark satiated purple at warm light or intensive blue at colder light. The whole cluster is in perfect condition and has no downsides. Absolutely brilliant and amazing!
Rich and sparkling, colorful and gemmy! This is a flat plate of pure azurite and malachite of just best quality, crystallized on front and backside. Particularly the front shows a spectacular plethora of sharp, lustrous, royal blue crystals. At some peripheral regions you can see beginning pseudomorphosis, adding some nice spots of green malachite. A just brilliant Milpillas azurite that's much better in person!
This is one of the best and most aesthetic quartz specimen ever to be found at the Zwillingswand, Salzburg. The piece shows a great outline, high quality crystals and a sheer fireworks of sparkling surfaces. Some rust-brown iron oxide adds the characteristic color and makes this piece even more lively. Being free of any damage or even abrasions, this is a high class quartz specimen for this part of the Alps.
The New Cornwall Mine near the town of Kadina in South Australia is famous for world class atacamite having produced some of the worlds finest specimens of this rare mineral!
This is an exceptional group of sharp, deep green and lustrous crystals nicely arranged in a fanning pattern. While the backside is a little overcrusted the front perfectly shows the blocky atacamite. Some contacts are present aroud the base but no damage!Absolutely stunning in size and quality!

A towering paragenesis of tetrahedrite on pyrite and quartz. The largest tetrahedrite crystal at the pieces center has an impressive 3 cm on edge, is sharp and - unlike some other tetrahedrite on this specimen - is free of damage. The crystals sit on golden pyrite cubes with nice bevels and striations. Some white and sparkling quartz at the base provides for a great contrast and overall aesthetics.
Not overall perfect but a worthy locality piece of great composition!
This small cabinet piece from the famous Huanzala Mine is totally unusual. The massive pyrite is complete all around, free of any damage and shows best golden luster. The body of this surprisingly lively piece is a cluster of octahedral pyrite crystals of unusual growth. While the crystals are sharp and smooth along the edges, all the faces in between are assembled of many microfaces and thus show a grainy yet absolutely flawless and stunningly beautiful structure. Prominently atop this cluster sits a single octahedraon with brilliant mirroring faces. The quality is just perfect on all sides. I have seen many pyrites coming from the Huanzala Mine but yet nothing alike this fantastic specimen!
This thick little gnome is a brilliant example for a flawless skeletal quartz specimen. Heavy etchings obscure the original prismatic shape of this quartz to an almost unrecognizable extent and leave us with this marvelous, grotesque and stunningly beautiful specimen. Inside the crystal you find some chlorite which is characteristic for the locale and adds even more to the beauty of this piece. The surface is mostly frosted but not too much to allow the view inside the glassy crystal. An amazing crystal that never ceases to impress!
Highly lustrous pyrite crystals are set on a sparkling white quartz matrix of perfect contrast. The crystals are of the very best quality you will only find on Peruvian pieces: Golden mirroring luster on a subtly striated surface, rounded edges and all flawless. Among the pyrite there is one 1.8 cm crystal of galena as well as several small galena crystals distributed between the quartz. This is a high quality pyrite specimen of exceptional aesthetics!
The quality of this phantom quartz is just amazing!
It's as if the chlorite and rock that's visible inside lies just below the surface of a steady pool of water, all quiet and mesmerizing. At some spots the chlorite breaks through the surface which makes this piece even more lively. As a floater this piece is perfect all around while the luster is admittedly less good at the backside. Some snow-white adularia adds a great visual effect to this overall just beautiful specimen of Felbertal quartz!
No picture and no video can show you the full beauty of this specimen!
Best quality meets a wonderful 3-dimensional shape, amplified by so many little details! The smoky quartz has marvelous brown color in totally clear and glassy crystals, all covered in smooth surfaces of best wet-look luster. All terminations are unharmed and even the periphery shows no damage whatsoever. The underside is crystallized with quartz and chlorite, making this a complete floater-specimen. Absolutely gorgeous in person and in perfect condition!
This is basically a single colorless quartz yet it is accompanied by smaller side-crystals and some white fledspar that acts as supporting matrix. The crystal is of very nice quality: Glassy interior, sharp cut termination and brilliant surface luster that is especially good at the front. Some structure really adds to the beauty of this specimen! The whole specimen is in best condition with only one hardly visible damage near the base. Even the bottom is all crystallized and lustrous which is rare on a piece like this! A charming specimen from this classic locale!
