With its stunning hight of 6 cm and strikingly bright orange color this stellarite specimen is definitely an important piece from this locale which has produced a significant number of stellarite in the early 1990s before it got depleted and the mineral almost vanished from the market. This specimen features two intergrown spherical clusters of lustrous, bright orange stellarite of superb translucent quality! The spheres are perched on a small piece of matrix that is covered in stilbite crystals. The aesthetics of this stellarite is absolutely gorgeous and there is no damage to report here!
This is a lovely tourmaline cluster from Paprok that shows amazing brilliance!
Several transparent and lustrous elongated tourmaline crystals are intergrown in a slighly fanning out fashion.
All crystals are well terminated and sharp. Only a side-crystal at the base is broken but further up everything is complete and beautiful.
The dominant color here is green but all the individual terminations are pink which makes for a wonderful picture as there are so many terminations present. A lovely specimen in person!
In 2018 a tourmaline pocket has been opened in the Pyingyi Taung region, somewhere close to the village Let Pan Hla, and the found specimens by far outshine all previous finds of this mineral in the region! The intensive cherry-red color as seen in the pictures is not exaggerated at all and best sparkling luster even emphasizes the pristine quality and aesthetics! The main crystal on this specimen is prominently set amidst smaller side crystals of matching color and quality. The crystal is absolutely amazing not only for its juicy color but mostly for the sharp cut termination, a modified polyhedral pyramid of uttermost luster! Apart from some peripheral contacts this thing is absolutely flawless, highly aesthetic and of uncanny quality!
What immediately catches the eye here are the amazing lustrous faces and modifications this outstanding apatite has to offer! This beautiful surface structure continues all around the crystal which is even a floater. Alpine apatite of such exceptional quality and shape is extremely rare and hard to come by. With its gemmy interior, the nice pastel color and the waxy luster this is a brilliant specimen of very best design!
Adularia is one of the more uncommon species found in the Rauris valley yet some very nice pieces are known. This is an excellent specimen that shows large and pristine crystals on a contrasting dark matrix. The larges adularia is 3.3 cm across, well defined, lustrous, translucent and set at the prominent top of the specimen. Very attractive and of superb quality and condition! Ex Wolfgang Vötter collection.
This is a smaller but even the more beautiful specimen from the spectacular topaz find at Fazenda do Centro. The etched topaz has the shape of a breaking wave which makes it a vivid and attracitve specimen! The surface shows beautiful structures all around which even emphasize the appearance of solidified water. The condition is near-perfect from bottom to top.
A single well shaped pyrite cube is set at the center of a lovely quartz/pyrite matrix. The main crystal is very dominant with no competition for the prime spot on this fine specimen. It has 1.8 cm on edge, is lustrous and flawless. The matrix itself is a very beautiful one as well. A lovely combination of white quartz and golden pyrite that really impresses at close view. Absolutely beautiful specimen with well defined aesthetics and in best condition!
This is a rare fluorite specimen from the Nalps valley that shows exceptional transparency and very nice pink color at the center! The piece shows an interesting two-generation growth. The first generation fluorite is pink and has green chlorite all over its surface. Its backside has crystallized white feldspar.
On top of the original fluorite is a second generation of fluorite which is colorless, well developed and shows very good luster and a nice surface structure. Unusual growth, nice quality and very good condition all come together on this appealing specimen. There is a small abrasion at the tip but the rest is complete and in superb condition.
Epidote from the Alpine type clefts of Pakistan are a well known species that impresses with gemmy quality and a multitude of different shapes!
This is an exceptionally thick and meaty exemplar as you hardly find it on the market. The main crystal itself is 6.5 x 2.6 x 1.3 cm, nicely transparent and lustrous and with a sharp and well cut habit. At the base it is intergrown with smaller epidotes one of which is broken. But still, as the main crystal is so impressive and in really great condition this is an excellent epidote from this important locale!
Very unusual and beautiful “faden”-quartz from Tole that is a real jewel in person! It’s a floater specimen in perfect condition all around and with a prominent main crystal. This main crystal is 4.6 cm long, sharply designed, glassy, lustrous and with a distinct “faden” from bottom to top!
This 26 cm quartz crystal is a complete floater and absolutely flawless!
It shows superb luster and very good clarity through and through! The termination is somewhat rounded but not damaged or even abrased. While the frontside is all smooth and lustrous with fine striations, the backside is encrusted with quartz, feldspar and some iron oxide. All in all this is a stunning piece of dramatic magnitude!
A single adularia of unusually gemmy quality is set on a crystallized piece of matrix. The adularia is virtually flawless, well crystallized and has those completely transparent zones that are rare in this material. Absolutely nice and beautiful!
