A strinking combination of transparent long prismatic quartz supporting a cluster of grey-brown octahedral scheelite crystals, covered in signal yellow stolzite. While there are some abrasions visible, exposing the scheelite, there is no actual damage to be found here. This is a massy, 3-dimensional piece and a good example for the famous and utterly unique 2014 find at Mundo Nuevo Mine. At the bottom and the backside you see accessory hübnerite crystals, also typical for the locale. Highly attractive and rare, this is a unusual combination-piece of great importance.
A heavy piece of lovely aesthetics, this massive, crystallized chalcopyrite matrix a quantity of metallic galena dodectahedrons and a single, pristinely white calcite rhombohedron. The calcite is translucent with a milky, opaque phantom around 3-4 mm below its scaly surface. A crust similarly white calcite covers parts of the galena like freshly fallen snow. This piece is out of a newer find that set a new standard for calcite from this locale, concerning quality and size alike. A superbly aesthetic piece with a flawless calcite on beautifully sparkling matrix.
A brilliant glassy tourmaline crystal of elegant blueish color with pink at the termination and the bottom. The multifaceted termination shows excellent luster. While the backside is contacted - which actually adds a very welcome structure - with some chips at the edges, the front is perfect, clear and nicely striated. A charming single crystal tourmaline of very good quality.
This elegant silver sepcimen is an important and rather large example for the 2014 find at the Andaychagua Mine. A single "herringbone" aggregate plate rises from a spacial white calcite matrix. The silver is very thin and fragile yet in perfect condition and incredibly beautiful. Depending on the light the silvery-grey color shows a vivid sheen all around and draws attention to itself. A high class silver specimen from this new Peruvian locale.
Pure elegance and beauty make this a just incredible piece. The main crystal, a water-clear doubly terminated quartz of fantastic quality, sits on a brilliantly sparkling matrix that is over and over covered in smaller quartz crystals. A gorgeous thing about this specimen is the pristine pinkish tinge these crystals show. This is definitely an outstanding piece of marvelous aesthetics. Some insignificant edgewear lowers the price on this but absolutely not the great visual impact.
A dark tower, somehow menacing and untouchable. This is a single quartz crystal, limpid and lustrous, that is heavily shot through with black schorl needles. The surface is a beautiful play of mirroring quartz faces and cluttered black schorl. The termination of the quartz is flawless, at the sides there are some contacts. This is a rare and aesthetic piece of Alpine tourmaline, combined with classic high-quality quartz.
This is a distinclty arborescent, sculptural native copper specimen with some minor green malachite mottling. The piece is flat, with platy branches. Front- and backside are similarly well shaped and show no obvious damage or contact. The color very much varies from a typical shiny copper-color to flat brown and greenish to the outer branches.
The open-pit Chino Mine is one of the oldes copper mines of North America where already prehistoric peoples took native copper from. This is a fine example for the great quality this mine produces, with bright color and very sharp crystals. It is a full, fork-like arranged floater, free of any damage and strikingly aesthetic. Very showy and vibrant in person!
A deeply cherry-red and sparkling fireworks that shows high luster, especially on the side faces. The vanadinite crystals are covering a smaller piece of matrix and piling up to form a specimen of exceptionally fine aesthetics. This whole piece is in a very good condition with only minor damage at some spots. A highly appealing piece for a low price.
This piece is out of a wulfenite find in Mežica, Slovenia that is famous for the rare bipyramidal crystal habit found there. Here you find one single orange wulfenite crystal that freely sits on a limestone matrix. At the top it is covered in white calcite as if it were covered in snow. A small but especially aesthetic specimen that has a strong focus on the one single and perfectly situated crystal.
This piece is out of a wulfenite find in Mežica, Slovenia that is famous for the rare bipyramidal crystal habit found there. A fragile piece of matrix - at one spot only held together on a piece of wulfenite(!) - holds several single isolated orange wulfenite crystals and nicely presents them in an almost perfect way. Some calcite covering is adding some more to the already nice aesthetics of this piece. A small but very much appealing specimen from this famous locale!
A single curving fluorite of fabulous green color, speckled with smaller purple zones. The fluorite sits on a piece of feldspar matrix. While the frontside is smooth, the back is a contact-zone with matrix. There is virtually no damage on this piece that lives through its deep and soothing color.
