I dare say this fluorite is utterly unique! One single perfect fluorite-cube rests on a matrix with dark green covering (much darker and prettier in fact than on the picture or video). The crystal is of stunning purple color, is clear inside and has perfect sharp edges. The surface is brilliantly lustrous and has a very fine structuring. The bottom of this piece is cut but which is not visible unless you turn the piece upside down (which you would'nt want anyway, considering the utter beauty of this fluorite). I honestly love the wonderful composition and quality of this piece!
Wonderful mossy green color, imposing size and brilliant quality are perfectly combined in this one single titanite crystal. While the bottom of the crystal is broken the visible part is of very fine quality. For a single crystal this specimen is unusually striking!
This tourmaline crystal strikes with a very massy body, a charming pink color and a side crystal that adds much to the nice aesthetics. At the termination of both, the main and the side crystal the color changes from pink to a thin layer of blue. The tourmaline is in good condition with only some edge-wear. The bottom also is rehealed so there is no considerable damage on this piece. A small but definitely lovely specimen.
Three amethyst crystals of superb quality and beautiful color are standing side by side, grown together at the base. As is typical for the locale the gemmy crystals are in fact colorless but generously clouded with purple billows. There is some wear at this piece but in general it is in a very good condition with only a few internal cracks and a healed bottom. A classical and fine piece of amethyst from Guerrero, Mexico.
The silvery schist matrix holds a combination of colorless quartz and yellowish calcite. One main quartz is protruding at the piece's center and presents great luster and good clarity. The surrounding matrix is largely covered in calcite and some mica. A classic Alpine piece in overall good condition!
This miniature specimen is a rich cluster of apple green augelite and glassy quartz needles. The largest augelite is a little over 1 cm on edge, sharp and gemmy. With near perfect condition, great quality and appealing aesthetics this is a lovely specimen for this rare mineral!
A stunningly beautiful combination of golden lustrous pyrite with small galena crystals that are set on the pyrite like decorating metallic flowers! The pyrite is totally brilliant and sharp with very fine striations and bevelled edges. The single galena crystals reach a little over 1 cm in diameter and are similarly well developed and in great condition! Overall there is only some minor damage, most parts are pristine and beautiful! A very unique and aesthetic specimen in person!
A large cluster of calcite crystals with super luster, nice honey-yellow color and no damage to speak of. The crystals are translucent to transparent rhombs up to 6 cm on edge, alternated by small fill-in crystals, equally bright and perfect. This is a classic type of stepped grown Tsumeb calcite of such superb quality as only this famous Mine was able to produce!
This single crystal tourmaline from Laghman is exceptionally gemmy with a nice pink color. Its shape is a distinctly hexagonal prism with a lustrous surface. At the termination there is some intergrown lepidolite as you can easily see in the video.
A perfectly clear aquamarine with an excellent, modified termination is wearing a coat of white albite, perfectly crystallized and free of damage. Every single crystal face is sparkingly lustrous, no matter where you are looking at. The aquamarine holds some appealing inclusions of schorl that are nicely visible through the water-clear crystal and add a distinct contrast. There are internal cracks visible, but no breaks or repairs. A perfect aquamarine with its own special charm, good cabinet size and unique appearance all around, as you can greatly see in our video! As a small extra, there is a small apatite at the lower left!
There is probably no valid way of determining a front- and backside on this piece which is in fact an incredibly rare event. However one side has slightly larger crystals, so there you are! While the shape of this specimen immediately reminds me of a map of France, its stupendous properties lie somewhere different completely: It is indeed a floater, being perfectly flawless all around. All crystals, lovely stacked together, are tremendously lustrous and show absolutely nice surface structures with manifold striations and modifications all over the piece. A real golden shimmering eye-catcher.
The focus of this specimen is clearly on the main augelite crystal. The casing of sharp and lustrous crystal faces is almost bursting with fabulous, radiant green. The augelite is gemmy and in practically perfect condition with just one minuscule contact. You rarely see crystals of such deep coloring as most of them are much paler with dull surfaces. What we have here is something else entirely, a real jewel. The matrix is of glassy white quartz with some smaller green augelite spread between them. It is a floater and free of damage. I recommend our video for a better view on the 3-dimensional qualities and the sparkling luster.
