The piece is out of a new find and it is 100% lovely. It is incredibly aesthetic with a cluster of rich pink fluorapatite on a perfectly contrasting white albite matrix. The apatite is highly lustrous, sharp and shows unusual crystal habit. The piece is complete all around, with contacts at the bottom but no damage. Small edgewear is present but not apparent. Definitely a marvelous piece, very elegant and with no downsides. A real jewel!

An excellent, sharp and gemmy single titanite crystal of brown color is prominently situated on a sparkling piece of white and grey matrix. The crystal is flawless and of very best quality! Brown titanite from the Alps is by far more rare than the green variety and especially when it comes to this kind of outstanding quality, the air is getting VERY thin! Perfect aesthetics meets best crystal quality!

An excellent closed gwindel, surprisingly long and with a very distinct twist. The slender shape of this thumbnail specimen makes it very much unusual and exceedingly rare. There is just one minimal ding at the side but otherwise no damage. The crystal is clear with a lustrous surface that ist smooth at the front and slightly chloritized at the back as you can very well see in our video. An absolutely remarkable piece of unique shape!Seidenmatte Oberfläche

The octahedral fluorite aggregate on this matrix specimen is a staggering 4.6 cm in total, shows intensively pink color and is beautifully developed. The white feldspar matrix provides stark contrast in perfect proportion. I can't remember seeing any specimen from Zinggenstock of such exceptional dimension, especially in such flawless condition! Absolutely spectacular in person!

Wonderfully aesthetic and of best tourmaline quality, this is a beautiful and very well balanced specimen of liddicoatite with contrasting white albite. The single crystal is sharp and well defined with a flat, superbly lustrous termination. The whole piece is in best condition with some contact but no real damage - a small chip at the back is not fresh but re-healed. Give it some backlight and the intense pink color of the top zone is unbeatable! Lower down, the color changes to olive green and brick red at the bottom, all very much transparent and striking. A brilliant miniature of excellent aesthetics!

Atop the front face you can find some small quartz crystals which add a little more live to this specimen. Absolutely gorgeous in person!

WZ38 - Smoky Quartz - Sold
Val Giuv, Tujetsch, Vorderrhein Valley, Graubünden, Switzerland
Size: 9.9 x 5 x 4.5 cm

The center of attention is a prominent single smoky quartz crystal of finest quality! Warm color throughout the whole gemmy clear crystal, sharp edges and no flaws at all. It is distinctly right-handed (as is the smaller side crystal) and shows a beginning termination at the bottom, where it then merges into a flat matrix of adularia, small smoky quartz and even epidote and some byssolite. Very attractive and highly aesthetic as the main crystal is incredibly dominant here and fully lives up to his role. Have a look on our video for a better 3-dimensional look!

UP8 - Quartz Phantom - Sold
Val Gronda da Cavrein, Vorderrheintal, Graubünden, Switzerland
Size: 11.5 x 7.6 x 4.5 cm

This is not quite the usual specimen from Cavrein valley but a distinctive phantom quartz on matrix! The main crystal is 5.1 cm long, colorless and transparent. At the center it displays a very sharp brownish phantom as a shadow of the former crystal that has later grown further to the current size. The main crystal is accompanied by smaller quartz which show the same kind of phantom inside. They are all grown on a natural grey rock matrix with a crust of microscopic feldspar. The tip of the main crystal is a bit rough but which is contact induced, not damaged. Very nice and unusual specimen in best condition!

A high quality topaz of 3.5 cm length, set on a matrix of grey rock with white feldspar that strongly emphasizes the orange crystal! The tozaz has amazing color and is totally gemmy! The surface is lustrous and the termination nicely developed and perfect! One edge at the backside is damaged and the crystal is repaired at the base but which is completely invisible. The rest is just amazing quality and stunning crystal architecture on a nice cabinet size specimen!

I very much like the aesthetic of this specimen! The tourmaline has very clear and bright colors, from pink at the flat termination to satiated green further down. This gemmy crystal sits between a construct of shimmering cleavelandite and a blocky piece of feldspar which makes it very interesting and aesthetic alike! The backside is contacted but recrystallized. The front is all flawless with an all perfect tourmaline in the middle! Absolutely beautiful in person!

MC1 - Gold - Sold

Unusually bright golden color and a vivid sheen are most intriguing attributes of this remarkably well shaped gold specimen from Pontes e Lacerda. It shows an intertwined structure of skeletal growth with several nicely defined crystals on an overall organic, elegant shape. This fine gold specimen is out of the spectacular 2015 find that brought a number of outstanding specimens before it was shut down by governmental forces. This is a completely undamaged, very much attractive specimen all around that shows a dramatic quality and yellow color that is only characteristic for this fabulous find and superior to just about anything we have seen so far from Brazil!

GM782 - Rutile - Sold
Murursprung, Ankogelgruppe, Lungau, Salzburg, Austria
Size: 3.8 x 1.3 x 0.9 cm

Definitely one of the finest single rutile crystal we have ever seen coming from Austria! It is exceptionally large, free of any damage and shows some nice red color, although - due to its thickness - only at the surface. Unlike most other known crystals this rutile is even doubly terminated with a very beautiful and well structured crystallization at the bottom! The whole crystal is brightly lustrous as you can well see on our video. While the Ankogel group is usually famous for great sagenite rutile, this fantastic crystal is massive and exceptionally thick. A real stunner in person!
