An aesthetic combination of a rather large main quartz emerging from a group of smaller crystals. The quartz is completely colorless, glassy and lustrous, with no damage to speak of. A beautiful, well developed specimen with no downsides!
Blue aragonite from the Austrian Alps is a highly desired variety and usually is found at the fabous Styrian Erzberg. Even rarer is this specimen form Brixlegg, famous for silver and copper minerals like azurite or malachite. It is a very showy piece with unusual structure and lovely baby-blue color. The aragonite is grown in the shape of a winding river, 3-dimensionally protruding from the dolomite matrix. Very attractive and rare from this locale!
Composition and Quality of this specimen are simply spectacular. A beautifully red octahedral fluorite crystal is accompanied by adularia and smoky quartz on this piece. The crystal is 3.6 cm on edge and shows a nicely structured surface and very good luster. Provided with a sharp contrast, this fluorite offers a wonderful composition. The backside of the crystals is contacted but shows no damage. A brilliant piece of exceptional aesthetics!
Sharp and water-clear! This is a single quartz crystal of exceptional quality. The pointed termination displays a large window-like face that grants a deep insight, right to the bottom of the colorless transparent crystal. There is minimal edgewear present, overall this piece is in great condition! Have a look on our video to see the superb quality of this specimen!
A distinct quartz sceptre peeps out between some other translucent quartz crystals. All surfaces are lustrous and undamaged. some rust brown limonite adds color to this lovely little - yet highly aesthetic - specimen! Have a look on our video which gives a perfect impression of this charming piece!
This huge and heavy calcite specimen was found around 20 years ago and was since then in my fathers collection. It is a massive piece of rock, overgrown with scalenohedral calcite. The calcite is white with yellowish tips which is due to iron oxide. There is some damage here but which is hardly avoidable on a large scale specimen like this.
One single anatase crystal on a diversified matrix that provides a nice contrast and a very fine aesthetics. Most impressive about this specimen is the size of the crystal that is about 11mm long and 6 mm thick! The bottom of this specimen is cut but to be honest, it's all about the impressive anatase!
This single crystal specimen strikes with exceptionally high luster and good clarity from bottom to top. The bottom is partly contacted, partly crystallized but nowhere broken. Around the tip there are some abrasions but the rest is in top condition. Very nice crystal with sceptre character and great overall quality!
An impressive skeletal quartz specimen from the famous emerald-locality Habachtal. The piece is rather massive, very much transparent and nicely lustrous. While the backside still shows the prismatic shape of the original crystal, the front is way too heavily etched. There is no visible damage anywhere!
Rare and imposing with a sligth smoky tinge, this is an unusually well specimen from this famous locale!
The largest iron rose on this tightly packed specimen is 2 cm in diameter, shows distinct hexagonal shape and brilliant luster! It is accompanied by several smaller, 3-dimensionally arranged rosettes of matching perfection. The backside is a cover of white feldspar, wraped around the hematite like a thick winter-coat. This is a superb thumbnail specimen of best hematite quality in perfect condition!
A combination of very sharp quartz crystal with attached hematite on a matrix that is coverend in adularia! The matrix is a complete floater that shows beautiful crystallizations of white adularia and metallic black hematite which makes for a fantastic contrast! The three main quartz crystals are clear and almost colorless with only a slight smoky tinge. Especially the larger crystal has a beautiful cover of hematite, but not too much to completely drown it. Very aesthetic in person!
While the general shape of this calcite is very typical for the locale, this is definitely one of the best crystals we have seen from there. The dagger-shaped elongated calcite is free of damage and beautifully imposing for its 3-dimensional form. The color is a greyish beige that varies throughout the crystal. With a size of almost 15 cm this is an outstanding and attractive specimen.
