A very good hematite well situated on a matrix consisting of many crystals of small adularia. Some chlorite is attached to the specimen what is typical for this locale. The chlorite stands out very strong on the photo but the crystal is much more clear in person.

RK95 - Gold - Sold
Rosia Montana, (Verespatak), Alba Co., Romania
Size: 3.1 x 2 x 2.4 cm

What a gorgeous gold from this old classic locale! To get a good specimen on matrix from Verespatak is more or less impossible nowadays, and I was very lucky to get such a nice specimen. The gold is well crystallized and also the luster is very good in person. This is the best specimen from this locale which I have ever had in that size range. It can be easily trimmed to a thumbnail, if this is desired. I was lucky to trade this specimen back, so this piece is avaliable again!

What a beautiful epidote form this classic locale in the Austrian Alps! The group of two fat combined crystals is showing a very high luster and very sharp edges. The termination is very clean and the whole piece is free of damage. It was found many years ago and comes from the old mining periode. It is very hard to get a piece like this nowadays as most of the epidotes from the new findings are much more thin! Especially unripaired pieces are very rare as most of the specimens break due heavily blasting at the mining process.

Another beautiful piece in combination with quartz! The quartz shows a white layer of matrix on the surface and looks gorgeous in person! The fluorite has a beautiful color, which is not as dark as shown on the video! The piece is in a very good condition, just one of the crystlas pinnting to the back has a cleave, which is also very good visible on the photo.

This is a very impressive touramline with a stunning quality! It is highly lustrous, very glassy and intense red on the top! It has a beautiful stiration at the side faces and is well terminated. Except some small and hardly visible edgewear it is completely perfect. Beautiful in person!

Its wonderful aesthetics, the size and first of all the large main crystal are what makes this piece just awesome! If you'd love to have an apatite from the famous Sapo Mine, 2.1 cm wide and 1.4 cm thick, with brilliant luster and a deeply green coloring, you are just right with this amazing specimen. The crystals are sitting on a beautiful white and sparkling albite matrix, which makes a stunning color contrast. Strikingly beautiful in person!

This single topaz is a massive crystal, 1.9 cm on edge. It shows an intriguing habit and brilliant luster on all sides. Main flaw of this piece is a tiny chip at the tip, which is not visible from the frontside. It might not be perfect, but size, luster and a nice surface striation are still there to impress.

Found in 2014, this piece of quartz, hematite and even some rutile strikes through this fabulous combination and the enchanting aesthetics. Like a shield held by a proud knight, the round plate of hematite shines at the very front of this specimen, decorated with tiny red rutile crystals. Quartz and hematite both are flawless and of brilliant condition. At the backside, I have to admit, you will find one damaged hematite, but that’s not at all visible from the front. An awesome detail (you can see that at the video, if you look closely) is to be found to the right of the main quartz crystal: A smaller gwindel (!) is leaning to its prismatic shape and waits to be discovered. Well, we already did!

Lovely and colorful this fluorite from China is extraordinarily nice. The octahedral crystals have a green core but bright purple edges. Forming a vertical line on a snow-white quartz-matrix the brilliant aesthetics of this specimen is undoubted. The general condition is good but admittedly there is some small edgewear present - therefore we reduced the price on this one. A perfect choice for any collector of attractive fluorite specimen on matrix!

This piece was found in 1996 at the construction of the Remsach storage power plant. This is actually the first specimen we have from this exact locale, the “Röhre Angertal”, where fluorite specimen of this quality were rarely found. The beautiful aesthetics and the remarkable crystal size of 1.2 cm on edge are quite convincing and attractive. This piece is distinctly 3-dimensional, so a look on the video would help seeing this piece in a better light. A lovely little piece, especially for the locale!

What you see here is a single tourmaline of light blue color protruding from a piece of white quartz. A perfect textbook-composition as it is rare, especially considering the high quality of the crystal. The tourmaline, though generally blue, has a beautiful pink shimmer to it, visible behind a surface of pristine luster. A overall fantastic and very much catchy piece!
