Quartz from this remote locale is rather rare so it is even more impressive to find this doubly terminated 14 cm exemplar! The crystal is clear with only slight clouds towards the lower end. The tapered shape results in delicate striations from bottom to top which are especially beautiful on the highly lustrous front! This fine quartz is 100% flawless and of very nice quality!

The Austrian Saurüssel is well known among collectors for outstanding amethyst specimens as well as beautiful hematite roses. Less known are colorless quartz specimen yet here we have a specimen that tops the vast majority of quartz from this famous locale! A group of high-quality quartz prisms is set on a naturally broken piece of granite gneiss. That matrix is covered in quartz micro-crystals and some orange limonite that adds color and contrast. The quartz itself is water-clear, sharp and contains beautiful byssolite needles at the core. The piece is in very good condition. Minimal damage is present though hardly disturbing or even visible from the front view. A highly attractive specimen for its unusual, appealing aesthetics and the superb crystal quality!

The so called "Plattenbrüche" - Kaiserer and Lohning quarry - are source of a number of excellent Alpine tourmaline specimens. The crystals on our specimen are 3-dimensionally arranged and show a rich fire-red color, especially at the thinner needles. Some associated white calcite adds contrast to the otherwise dark, yet very much sparkling specimen. The backside also features some rust-red rutile. The condition is overall fine with some contacts but no actual damage. This is doubtlessly a superb piece of Alpine tourmaline!

The architecture of this quartz specimen is just incredibly complex! The main structure is a razor sharp pyramidal termination with distinctive "windows" that is just water-clear! Further down however, the crystal dissipates into an increasing number of smaller crystals, sparkling patterns and doubly terminated projecting alcoves. Absolutely mesmerizing in person, like a castle with hundreds of towers! Turning the piece around you see a massive quartz crystal but which is completely re-crystallized with highly lustrous and well structured surfaces all around. No damage, just mindblowing perfection!

A lovely little hematite of the iron rose aggregate on matrix that is exceptionally 3-dimensional and in absolutely perfect condition from the most famous hematite-locale Fibbia at the central St. Gotthard Massif. I have hardly ever see such perfection and beauty on a miniature specimen like this! The single iron rose is freely set on a beige to white feldspar matrix that is crystallized on all sides. The hematite itself is unusually well developed: the rosette is 2.7 cm in diameter and incredible 1.8 cm thick! Our video provides a better look on the overwhelming 3-dimensional shape! This is true perfection!

This sculpturesque tourmaline specimen is comprised of two crystals, connected with some feldspar. Both crystals are gemmy with a beautiful color change from green to pink at the top. The termination is very well cut with multitude of faces! The lower crystal, around 1 cm in diameter, holds the second crystal like a ballet dancer which creates a nice aesthetics overall! This is a fine miniature from Paprok, that shows no damage whatsoever. Both crystals might have been broken long time ago but are rehealed with even some feldspar covering the fracture surface.

Atop this brilliantly sparkling matrix of white albite studded with green tourmaline stands one dramatic sculpture of gemmy green tourmaline with a raspberry red tourmaline crust. This main crystal is repaired but all complete and with a striking "antenna" protruding from the flat termination. This antenna shows the exact same structure as the larger crystal: A gemmy green core with a red zone at the termination and the outer layer. A crust of countless small tourmalines coveres the left and backside of the main crystal, the right is smooth and lustrous. Great design and fantastic quality make this specimen a marvel of exceptional character!

Some white albite at the side even improves the already stunning aesthetics. The color of the apatite is a vibrant pink that is strong at normal room light illumination that easily travels through the translucent crystal. The shape of this unusual rose quartz specimen reminds of a jewelled crown. A number of glassy, well cut crystals are fanning out from a more amorphous yet sparkling and intensively pink center at the base. The backside is completely flat which indicates that this piece has grown on the surface of a larger crystal. A vibrant specimen of appealing aesthetincs!
