Dramatic in size and shape, this is a very dominant epidote crystal with a 4.7 cm broad lustrous front face! The termination is chisel-shaped and all flawless, though a little dissolved. Further down there are broken crystals but which are very old and completely re-healed, as is the bottom of this spectacular piece. Due to the thickness of the crystal it's very hard to get any color and only in strong and direct backlight the emerald green is revealed at the edges. This is an old classic in best condition and of amazing size and appearance!

This piece was found in the Goboboseb Mountains which are world famous for the high quality amethyst crystals found in this area! The amethyst shows the most intensive purple color that is absolutely mesmerizing when it catches some light! An extremely rare and unusual specimen of andradite with hematite from Serifos Island.
The piece was found by Alfred Kugler who had it in his personal collection for many years.
Most unusual here are without doubt the hematite roses that are perched all over the brown andradite. A combination that is known at the locale yet extremely rare.
The andradite has a characteristic caramel-brown coloring with dark brown edges which emphasizes the rhomb-dodecahedral crystal shape.
The hematites are up to 1 cm in diameter and quite nicely developed!
Epidote from the Alpine type clefts of Pakistan are a well known species that impresses with gemmy quality and a multitude of different shapes!
This is by far the largest and most dramatic specimen from this pocket! A rich number of doubly-terminated crystals are threaded side by side and form a complex and most attractive sculpture. It is repaired once and has some damaged crystals but that's not too obvious and if you can live with it this is a stunning specimen for a good price!
The main crystal is a 1.8 cm garnet of perfectly sharp architecture and gemmy cherry-red color! It is set on a pristine white albite with some associated smaller garnets. The clarity of this arrangement is exceptional due to the stark contrast but also the bright color and sharpness.
The most striking aspect about this mineral is without question the color. But while many specimens tent towards pale yellow to almost colorless, this very specimen stands out and presents the most vibrant lemon yellow you could wish for. It is a sweeping sculpture of pure brucite with some grey rock matrix that adds contrast and additional beauty. The condition is outstanding too with no damage at all. Very attractive and outstanding in person!
