Its wonderful aesthetics, the size and first of all the large main crystal are what makes this piece just awesome! If you'd love to have an apatite from the famous Sapo Mine, 2.1 cm wide and 1.4 cm thick, with brilliant luster and a deeply green coloring, you are just right with this amazing specimen. The crystals are sitting on a beautiful white and sparkling albite matrix, which makes a stunning color contrast. Strikingly beautiful in person!
This single topaz is a massive crystal, 1.9 cm on edge. It shows an intriguing habit and brilliant luster on all sides. Main flaw of this piece is a tiny chip at the tip, which is not visible from the frontside. It might not be perfect, but size, luster and a nice surface striation are still there to impress.
Found in 2014, this piece of quartz, hematite and even some rutile strikes through this fabulous combination and the enchanting aesthetics. Like a shield held by a proud knight, the round plate of hematite shines at the very front of this specimen, decorated with tiny red rutile crystals. Quartz and hematite both are flawless and of brilliant condition. At the backside, I have to admit, you will find one damaged hematite, but that’s not at all visible from the front. An awesome detail (you can see that at the video, if you look closely) is to be found to the right of the main quartz crystal: A smaller gwindel (!) is leaning to its prismatic shape and waits to be discovered. Well, we already did!
Lovely and colorful this fluorite from China is extraordinarily nice. The octahedral crystals have a green core but bright purple edges. Forming a vertical line on a snow-white quartz-matrix the brilliant aesthetics of this specimen is undoubted. The general condition is good but admittedly there is some small edgewear present - therefore we reduced the price on this one. A perfect choice for any collector of attractive fluorite specimen on matrix!
This piece was found in 1996 at the construction of the Remsach storage power plant. This is actually the first specimen we have from this exact locale, the “Röhre Angertalâ€, where fluorite specimen of this quality were rarely found. The beautiful aesthetics and the remarkable crystal size of 1.2 cm on edge are quite convincing and attractive. This piece is distinctly 3-dimensional, so a look on the video would help seeing this piece in a better light. A lovely little piece, especially for the locale!
What you see here is a single tourmaline of light blue color protruding from a piece of white quartz. A perfect textbook-composition as it is rare, especially considering the high quality of the crystal. The tourmaline, though generally blue, has a beautiful pink shimmer to it, visible behind a surface of pristine luster. A overall fantastic and very much catchy piece!
An impressive single dioptase crystal of a stunning three centimeters in length, this piece holds marvelous green color and pristine luster on all sides. As a floater that is completely flawless on all sides this dioptase is truly outstanding and one of natures most fascinating wonders!
A lovely, highly aesthetic specimen of quartz with pericline on matrix. The grey schist-matrix holds a white group of pericline from amidst which a single glassy quartz crystal freely protrudes. The tessin-habit quartz is sharp, clear and lustrous and perfectly meets well balanced on the matrix. Brilliant aesthetics on a high class Alpine combination!
This massive piece is a well balanced composition of golden chalcopyrite and white quartz that is 360° well crystallized. The exceptionally high quality, brilliant luster and striking gold-color are characteristic for the Boldut Mine. The whole specimen is in outstanding condition with only some edgewear, inevitably on a heavy yet fragile piece like this. This piece is a real eye-catcher that sparkles and shines in direct illumination and presents highest quality chalcopyrite to the viewer.
Already at the usual showcase light you can see blood-red reflections from inside this fine single cuprite crystal. Adding direct illumination from the back brings out the full extent of splendour this striking specimen has to offer and leaves you - trust me - gasping for breath! Yes, the core stays black but the top half is all just sheer color and gemminess. The crystal is very sharp and, while at the bottom contacted, virtually flawless. A marvelous piece for the copper mines of Ogonja!
The crystals on this piece show just spectacular mirroring luster. The two main crystals are nicely perched on a beautiful pyrite matrix, underlined by a blanket of white calcite. There is some edge wear present on this piece but truly nothing to worry about. The visual impact of this specimen is just brilliant, the two main crystal focusing your attention and redistributing it to their marvelous surrounds.
Right to the point: If you can live with an encrusted backside then this is a marvelous choice for a reasonable price. In fact the completely clear crystals with mirroring luster grant a unimpeded look at said backside, making for a unique and highly appealing view! The whole piece is flawless and a complete floater. Definitely a striking piece of exceptional beauty!
