Wulfenite from M'Fouati has never come onto the market in large quantities but what has been found in the late 50s and early 60s counts among the finest wulfenites of the whole continent. This is a superb wulfenite from that period that impresses with great orange color and sheer size - it is 27mm across!
Tiny, appealingly sparkling Quartz crystals cover a large part of the crystal but where the wulfenite is free it is highly lustrous! The crystal is complete all around with no contacts or damages at all. The red-brown gossan matrix is covered in sparkling quartz too and provides a superb contrast and background for the dominant yellow-butterscotch crystal!
It's a rarity of striking aesthetics and outstanding dimension and a mayor piece for the locality!

If you can appreciate the untamed beauty of irregularly grown natural crystal specimens then I invite you to have a look on our video! Yes, it is crystallized all around and the purple color is strong, especially towards the termination. The whole specimen is pure quartz, mostly transparent through and through. Grown into the side there is a rough and opaque part with small amethyst sceptres atop. When looking closely you will also find tiny iron roses which is characteristic for the locale. The overall condition is very good with only very small issues that are even hard to see on a rich and absorbing piece like this!

Wow, this is something I haven't seen before!
A stocky aquamarine, 1.9 cm long and up to 2.3 cm in diameter, is balanced right atop a single tourmaline crystal. The tourmaline itself is very characteristic for the locale. A dark, almost black crystal with a nice green cap and some intergrown albite at the side. The doubly terminated flawless aquamarine is set at a 30° angle right at the tourmaline's top which makes for this absolutely unique and stunning aesthetics! The crystal is translucent with very nice blue color, just like in the pictures.

Several single isolated spheres of vivid yellow brucite are set on a rock matrix with a thin hydromagnesite layer that provides an elegant silvery background. The individual spheres show a diameter of up to 1.6 cm. Unlike many pale and unattractive brucite specimens we have seen on the market these crystals shine with the most vivid lemon-yellow color, strikingly emphasized on the smooth hydromagnesite matrix. What I like on this specimen is for sure the very distinctive design. A single cubical pyrite crystal is set atop a well balanced piece of matrix, consisting of white calcite and orange/brown ankerite. The pyrite has nice luster and is undamaged.

The quality of this quartz is positively breathtaking! While some of you might not be that happy about some intergrown crystals at the backside (even if those are all perfectly crystallized and the iron oxide coating adds a really beautiful golden color) but I am sure we could all agree on the water-clear crystal body, the wet-look luster and the sharp pointed termination! Absolutely amazing and flawless all around!

It's a barite from the famous finds at the open-pit mine in Jebel Ouichane. As characteristic for these specimens the light blue barite comes as blade-like tabular crystals of great transparency and luster. They are arranged as a beautiful and three-dimensional spray. The piece is a floater with only some residual iron-oxide here and there which adds this certain natural flavor! Like an ice-sculpture this specimen reflects the light from every angle as you can easily see in our video!
