A highly aesthetic specimen of octahedral fluorite on a white contrasting matrix of countless tiny quartz needles. The quartz on the other hand was perched on a massive green fluorite, parts of which are still present at the backside. The fluorite crystals are of a marvelous color combination, green at the center and intensively purple at the edges. The condition here is very good and complete with contacts only at the periphery. A very aesthetic duality composed of high quality crystals!
Tanzanite on Matrix is not exactly common so I was happy to lay hands on this fine little beauty. While it is not the biggest crystal the balance of crystal to matrix is quite ideal and the quality is great, especially towards the termination. While the lower half of the crystal has internal cracks and inclusions (the luster though is perfect even here), the top part shows best gemmy crystal quality. It’s transparent, vibrant and with a superb complex termination. You can easily see the color change too, blue with light from the back, purple with the light from the side. An amazing specimen for the size and beautiful too!
This rose quartz specimen has a unique circular shape with sparkling crystals fanning out from the center. The crystals show very nice pink color but around the outline there are white microcrystalls atached which makes for a totally unique and beautiful picture! The condition is very good with only minimal contacts but no damage. Absolutely outstanding and remarkably attractive!
This piece strikes with absolute best quality quartz crystals on a beautiful rock matrix! Several crystals are distributed about the matrix, the largest (6,4 cm long) is prominently set at the top. All crystals are in perfectly flawless condition! The rock matrix is rather beautiful as it is permeated with quartz, feldspar and limonite which gives it a lovely aesthetics! Very nice in person and with 3-dimensional appeal! The Marmotta-cleft is named after the groundhogs (“Marmotta” is the Rhaeto-Romanic word for groundhog), that are common in the Alpine area and soon populated the cleft.
With a size of 3.5 cm the vivianite main crystal here is not the biggest we have seen but the quality is stunning in person! There is best wet-look luster around a gemmy, completely limpid and sharply defined crystal! The open blueish-green color contrasts to the warm brown matrix. Behind the main vivianite the matrix extends three-dimensionally backwards where a number of smaller, equally perfect vivianites is places. This is an amazingly beautiful and appealing specimen from this world famous region!
Fantastic golden and pinkish red color in a gemmy, highly lusterous crystal of well defined shape! This majestic tourmaline specimen is constructed from two intergrown crystals with unusually complex terminations! The two crystals are not perfectly parallel but slightly diverging which adds a lot of character to this specimen. It’s an outstanding tourmaline of best quality as you can easily see in our video!
This is something we have not seen before: A glassy adularia crystal with attached iron roses!
This piece was found at the Austrian Mörchnerkar, famous for its beautiful hematites. But even here this kind of combination is almost nonexistent!
The main hematite aggreagate is right atop the adularia, has a diameter of 1.8 cm and is in outstanding condition.
A second “rose” is attractively perched at the adular’s side which makes for stunning textbook aesthetics!
The backside is covered in a cluster of muscovite with some hematite and a layer of chlorite, all in best condition.
This is a fantastic specimen all around and 100% unique!
This fantastic combination strikes with unusual yet highly attractive aesthetics! The rather large and sharp hematite aggreagates come as hexagonal plates with sharply cut edges and lovely sparkling rosettes at the faces. Associated with several of those interlocked hematite aggreagates there is white adularia and orange/brown siderite which both adds color and contrast. Much in favor of overall beauty! Ex. Hannes und Gerhard Hofer Collection!
The quality of this quartz is really like glass, highly lustrous and completely transparent. Looking inside through the large front face you look at beautiful inclusions of chlorite and rock but you can also see the backside where the quartz becomes more irregular. Turning the piece around you will find this irregular backside to be completely crystallized as well, resulting in this amazing landscape. This is a highly impressive quartz specimen in near flawless condition!
This brilliant specimen features a single meaty titanite twin crystal that is up to 7 mm thick and sharply developed! Especially on the front it shows bright luster and it is completely flawless. Some additional adularia on the side perfects the wonderful aesthetics! It is a superb little jewel in best shape and condition!
Beautiful sparkling white quartz arranged as a distinctively three-dimensional and highly appealing group! The quartz is all transparent and highly lustrous with sharp and complex architecture. The whole specimen is in fantastic condition and even the bottom is fully crystallized. Absolutely outstanding and incredibly beautiful!
This piece impresses with its shape and high quality in equal measure!
The quartz is glassy, shows wonderful luster and is in very best condition.
It is partly covered with chlorite and small adularia crystals, which makes it even more attractive and naturally appealing!
An amazing specimen that, as a complete floater, is crystallized and well shaped all around as you can best see in our video!
