What a striking combination of a smoky quartz with snow white adularia. The smoky quartz is a very short gwindel, while the side shown on the foto is the top side of the gwindel. The aesthetics and the color change of this specimen is beautiful. The smokey quartz is crystallized all around and free of any damage. The combination between quartz and adularia is very rare and hard to find. I have seen just a few specimens within many years and this is the best of it.
I have very rarely seen a good datolite on the market in the last years. This is an exceptional cluster of datolite with very sharp crystals, and a very nice pale, green color. On some faces the datolite is coverd by small, sparkling crystals of apophyllite. One small damge is present in the middle of the specimen on one of the smaller crystals, but this does not detract the beauty of this piece at all and is hard to see. It is very 3-dimensional in person!
This fluorite is very typical for this locale and comes from the famous Ruffibach find, which was made many decades ago! Many crystals are coming out of the matrix, looking like a small christmas tree, what looks very lovely! The octahedral crystals are showing a stepped growing and have a very nice color. The piece is in a very good condition over all.
Deep purple fluorite cubes with sharp edges on a very nice and sparkling quartz matrix! Very 3-dimensional and better in person!
This is a wonderful fluorite with many fine octahedrons of bright color. The crystals have a good clarity, luster and sharp edges. Many crystals are grown together, but also the matrix is very good visible, what makes a very good aesthetics over all. Some small chipping is present in the lower section, but this is just minor and the piece is in a very good condition over all. Much better in person!
This rubellite comes from the famous find at the Jonas Mine made by Ailton Barbosa in 1978! This was probably the best find of rubellite ever made and many consider this the best pocket of minerals over all! This crystal has an intense red color, good luster and clarity. It is repaired, but therefore lower priced and very showy for this! Beautiful in person!
It’s the bright green colored fluorite in contrast to white quartz and the rust-colored matrix that catches the eye at this wonderful specimen. Numerous octahedral crystals of different sizes are spread across the surface, struggling for attention. The largest is 2.2 cm on edge!Despite its size, this piece is truly graceful and outstanding in quality and aesthetics for the location.
WOW, this is the dream of every collector! A fat and intense red ruby is shooting out very smartly from the matrix here. Besides the beautiful color it is showing great aesthetics and contrast.
Very beautiful and extremely rare, this specimen is something special indeed. The size of the anatase crystals is up to about 9 millimeters, which might not sound much but is actually, considering the locality, really something! The crystals are lustrous with totally sharp edges and are nested in a white and brownish matrix, accompanied by a couple of quartz crystals. A rarity for any collector of Alpine minerals.
Grab your sunglasses, for the bright luster of this fantastic specimen is going to blind your eyes! This outstanding hematite is simply marvelous in regards of quality and aesthetics as well. While the backside of this specimen is crystallized and perfect as well, especially the main view impresses with breathtaking metallic luster, beautiful striation and sharpness. The contrast of hematite and accompanying white calcite is just terrific. Holding this massy specimen in your own hands will definitely open your eyes!
As a rare mineralogical feature this specimen is a half open, half closed smoky quartz gwindel of superb quality. This specimen is even a floater which makes it utterly unique. Unfortunately at the bottom right corner there is a small damage that luckily is not visible from the frontside. Aside of that, this piece is in perfect condition, free of cracks and completely limpid. Truly outstanding!
A matrix-piece of amethyst is a rare find in the Alps, so I am happy to offer this special one. Nice and clear, this piece offers an insight into a cleft, where clear quartz and amethyst have peacfully grown. At closer view you will find the main amethyst crystals to be scepters with sharp, clear and nicely purple heads. A rare piece of nice details.
