A distinctive pseudomorphosis of pyrite after pyrrhotite on a geyish-white matrix that is partly covered in tiny quartz needles. The pyrite holds great luster and is free of any damage. The main pseudomorphosis is accompanied by a smaller pyrite crystal in the front. Great composition and quality makes this piece a beautiful choice!
An azurite floater aggregate of lovely crystallization all around with no damage or contact anywhere to be found. This shape is classic for the now unactive locale near La Sal. The azurite is flashy and sparkling with hundreds of wedge shaped crystals. At some spots there are hidden hints of malachite, the rest is just pure blue joy without compromise!
A rather monstrous rutile from the famous locale Binntal. The prismatic crystal is jet-black with metallic luster and in very good condition with only one or two minimal dings. A large and very well defined crystal of great quality!
Another fine fluorite of great aesthetics!
This rare mossy green topazolite cluster is nicely composed on white matrix. The crystals, especially the main crystal with a striking 1.6 cm in diameter, are brilliantly lustrous and glassy with distinct striation. With only some minor edgewear and beautiful on all sides this specimen is worthy for any showcase.
On etched specimens like this you have to look really carefully to not overlook imperfections. But in this case i got lucky anyway as there are none! The crystal is perfectly clear, a floater and in outstanding condition. While the main part is colorless or with a greenish tinge, there is some vague purple color almost hidden inside this crystal. Fascinating and in a way mesmerizing, this fluorite is a wondrous phenomenon all around!
This is an exceptionally distinct piece with a single crystal of pyrite ps. pyrrhotite on a beautiful grey and white matrix. At the sides you can see a second generation of pyrite crystals. Being perched on such a nice matrix the outline of the crystal is very clear and salient. As a very 3-dimensional piece this specimen is an impressive view in any showcase!
Beautifully crystallized on all sides, nicely composed and with accompanying Japan law twins this epidote specimen is remarkable in any respect. The main crystal is 1.7 cm thick and holds a 2.3 cm Japan law twin atop its perfect termination. With the lovely aesthetics of butterflies sitting on this dominant lustrous mineral this specimen is a fine treasure indeed. The whole piece is in excellent condition and of unique composition.
Tiny metallic grey dipyramidal crystals of descloizite cover a colorful, red, green and yellow sceletal matrix which is elegant and stunningly beautiful alike. The fragile piece is held together by glassy white calcite of sparkling quality. A flawless, most unusual, contrasting combination piece of the rather rare descloizite with brilliant calcite.
I have seen many topaz coming to the market in the last years, but when it comes to this quality, I have seen almost nothing! Most are just heavily damaged single crystals of minor quality, or just not well situated on matrix. This piece features all you need to get a specimen of world class. The elongated crystal of high quality is shooting out vertically of the matrix, producing the fabulous aesthetics of this specimen. The crystal is gemmy, lustrous and showing the typically congnac color. Just some minor edgewear is present at the lower left of the crystal, but this is very small and does not detract the beauty of this piece at all. Very showy from all sides!
While most Alpine siderite is highly weathered and brown, this cluster is of a brisk olive-green color. Combined with glassy quartz needles, this is a wonderfully aesthetic specimen with bright and lustrous crystals. I especially love the outline with a sharp crystal of 1.7 cm on edge that proturdes at the very top. A beautiful piece of very fine quality!
This is a wonderful calcite, with a great gemminess and a beautiful striation on the surface, what looks gorgeous in person. With a size of 13.4 cm the crystal has a perfect size, and this in combination with the outstanding quality is very rare, and makes this piece very extraordinary. Except one face at the lower side at the back, the specimen is free of damage. As this is at the back it does not detract the beauty of this specimen at all, and also the lower side of the crystal is well crystalized. Much better and very glassy in person!
