Superbly brilliant, beautifully defined, and almost completely perfect. Only with a magnifying glass can you see a 1 mm chip on the top right corner, that's all. A whitish spot on the right edge is unusual, but here, too, everything is perfect. It's an excellent singly crystal smoky quartz gwindel.
The single fluorite octahedron is all complete and undamaged. It is somewhat rounded through etchings and older contacts but it must otherwise have been completely preserved, perhas in the permanent ice of the glacier where it was found. The crystal has a nice pink color and great clarity. The surface has a frosted sheen and a fine structure. A fascinating crystal from the Mont Blanc Massif!
It's just the perfect composition you are looking for: A single fluorite cube, aesthetically perched on top of a microcline crystal.
The aesthetics is really impressive and the quality of the fluorite is top-notch as well.
If you shine into the crystal from the back, the colors virtually explode into your eye, just like in the picture!
The centre shows the intense green color that is characteristic for the region, while further out there is an intensive purple zone, which creates a beautiful play of colours!
The fluorite is completely undamaged!
This is truly a wonderful little marvel. A brilliant high quality fluorite from the new Gotthard tunnel. The specimen has a miniature size of 4 cm with a single 1.5 cm fluorite octahedron. The quality of this fluorite is absolutely stunning and can only be found in specimens from the tunnel works. It has fantastic luster and glassy clarity. It is sharp and complete and has lovely pink color which contrasts with the white matrix. The way this single fluorite is set on the crystallized feldspar matrix is aesthetic to the point.
What a fine ettringite! This specimen has bright yellow color. The crystal is well-terminated and is pristine all around! It has great quality and shape! A perfect fit for every collector who is looking for African minerals.
What a striking combination of a smoky quartz with snow white adularia. The smoky quartz is a very short gwindel, while the side shown on the foto is the top side of the gwindel. The aesthetics and the color change of this specimen is beautiful. The smokey quartz is crystallized all around and free of any damage. The combination between quartz and adularia is very rare and hard to find. I have seen just a few specimens within many years and this is the best of it.
I have very rarely seen a good datolite on the market in the last years. This is an exceptional cluster of datolite with very sharp crystals, and a very nice pale, green color. On some faces the datolite is coverd by small, sparkling crystals of apophyllite. One small damge is present in the middle of the specimen on one of the smaller crystals, but this does not detract the beauty of this piece at all and is hard to see. It is very 3-dimensional in person!
This fluorite is very typical for this locale and comes from the famous Ruffibach find, which was made many decades ago! Many crystals are coming out of the matrix, looking like a small christmas tree, what looks very lovely! The octahedral crystals are showing a stepped growing and have a very nice color. The piece is in a very good condition over all.
Deep purple fluorite cubes with sharp edges on a very nice and sparkling quartz matrix! Very 3-dimensional and better in person!
This is a wonderful fluorite with many fine octahedrons of bright color. The crystals have a good clarity, luster and sharp edges. Many crystals are grown together, but also the matrix is very good visible, what makes a very good aesthetics over all. Some small chipping is present in the lower section, but this is just minor and the piece is in a very good condition over all. Much better in person!
This rubellite comes from the famous find at the Jonas Mine made by Ailton Barbosa in 1978! This was probably the best find of rubellite ever made and many consider this the best pocket of minerals over all! This crystal has an intense red color, good luster and clarity. It is repaired, but therefore lower priced and very showy for this! Beautiful in person!
It’s the bright green colored fluorite in contrast to white quartz and the rust-colored matrix that catches the eye at this wonderful specimen. Numerous octahedral crystals of different sizes are spread across the surface, struggling for attention. The largest is 2.2 cm on edge!Despite its size, this piece is truly graceful and outstanding in quality and aesthetics for the location.
