This is a very characteristic quartz sceptre from the classic locale of Rauris. It offers superb luster, especially at the skeletal termination, good clarity and an overall good condition. There is a small chip at the very tip but due to the highly structured termination this is hardly apparent. With around 6.5 cm the head of this scepter is the dominant part of this specimen and an appealing one in person!

It's basically two glassy quartz crystals that protrude in opposite directions. The base of those two main crystals is a cluster of smaller quartz but which are crystallized all around so that this is even a floater specimen. Very nice in person, undamaged and from an uncommon locale in South Tyrol!

Not very spectacular at first sight but a rare combination that is practically exclusive for Tsumeb. At closer view you find brown copper branches on a matrix of brownish-yellow tsumcorite and similarly colored wulfenite. A nice and extremely rare specimen from the type locality of tsumcorite.

This is a characteristic piece from Serifos Island in very best condition! All crystals are just perfect with only one contact at the base. The intensive green color, caused by actinolite inclusions, is easily lit through the translucent crystals. The surface has a nice waxy luster and fine organic structure. Perfect in shape and quality!

This piece is absolutely matchless! Two cubical pyrite crystal are stacked upon each other like father and child. Both crystals show very fine striations, modified corners and great luster. Both are almost perfect with just some tiny, almost invisible chips. The whole composition of this piece is a wonderful interplay of white quartz crystals, pretty and unharmed all around, with those superb pyrite crystals harmonically set in the middle. A world class specimen and definitely one of the very best to have come from the Mundo Nuevo Mine!

I love sceletal quartz, especially when they are as well shaped as this specimen. The whole piece is heavily corroded on all sides which leaves a totally unique picture. The main view shows great luster on a structured surface that reminds of a snake's skin. Anyhow, the cherry on this cake is the white adularia sitting on the quartz. A small detail that truly adds much to the general aesthetics of this fine specimen. There are no contacts or imperfections on the quartz, an inconspicuous fracture on the adularia being the only speck on an otherwise perfect picture.
