This piece is absolutely matchless! Two cubical pyrite crystal are stacked upon each other like father and child. Both crystals show very fine striations, modified corners and great luster. Both are almost perfect with just some tiny, almost invisible chips. The whole composition of this piece is a wonderful interplay of white quartz crystals, pretty and unharmed all around, with those superb pyrite crystals harmonically set in the middle. A world class specimen and definitely one of the very best to have come from the Mundo Nuevo Mine!

I love sceletal quartz, especially when they are as well shaped as this specimen. The whole piece is heavily corroded on all sides which leaves a totally unique picture. The main view shows great luster on a structured surface that reminds of a snake's skin. Anyhow, the cherry on this cake is the white adularia sitting on the quartz. A small detail that truly adds much to the general aesthetics of this fine specimen. There are no contacts or imperfections on the quartz, an inconspicuous fracture on the adularia being the only speck on an otherwise perfect picture.

While most comparable topaz specimens come from Xanda Mine, this brilliant ice blue topaz is out of the Teixerinha Mine in Minas Gerais, Brazil. And it is absolutely stunning in person! The topaz is a massy crystal, sharp and glassy at some parts, nicely etched at others. The right side is a smooth, lustrous surface that provides a look deep into the gemmy crystal. The left side is much more etched and is partly covered in yellowish mica, adding some nice contrast. Our video shows a great 360° view on luster, gemminess and the highly attractive shape of this fabulous piece. A marvelous topaz specimen of great visual impact!
