The hoppered growth of this exquisite gold specimen is absolutely outstanding and amazingly beautiful! The fishbone-like structure extends from the bottom to the very top which is extremely rare and highly attractive! As characteristic for the find the quality and color of the gold is top-notch and there is no damage. One of the most remarkable gold specimens I have seen in this size range!
Swiss siderite specimens of such charming aesthetics are very hard or almost impossible to come by. "Almost" fortunately and as you can see right here on picture and video. This is a just lovely little siderite and quartz combination that shows sharp, rust-brown siderite crystals in association with straight transparent quartz which makes for a great contrast and overall visual impact. The piece is in great condition with no considerable damage and all main crystals perfectly intact!
A striking piece of exceptional aesthetics!
This epidote specimen is from a recent find in the western Pakistani Mountains that revealed a completely unique and highly aesthetic "bow tie" shape. Sprays of dark green, lustous epidote form this sharp clusters in a just lovely way.
This specimen strikes with a playful, catchy shape and very good quality alike. There is no damage of any kind leaving this a complete and all brilliant floater specimen!
This is a fantastic little jewel of absolute perfection and best textbook aesthetics, a MUST for every thumbnail collector! The single titanite of yellowish green color is set on small yet well balanced piece of adularia matrix. As a twin crystal it shows perfect symmetry with a sharp pointed termination. A complete flawless floater!
Best wet-look luster, intensive forest green color, razor-sharp edges and beautiful composition all add up to this amazing titanite specimen! The small cabinet piece is a floater, compiled of adularia, quartz and chlorite with a set of high class titanite atop. The largest titanite is 3.2 cm long and is completely flawless. The distinct green color vividly stands out from the darker chloritized landscape of associated minerals. A gorgeous specimen of best quality and aesthetics from this uncommon locale!
A formidable specimen of epidote with calcite from Pampa Blanca that’s highly unusual and important from a mineralogical standpoint! It is a large and impressive specimen with sweeping epidote fans that shapes a very 3-dimensional landscape in great hand-size. The single epidote groups are up to around 4.5 x 2.8 cm and of very fine quality. The epidote is highly lustrous and sharply defined. The associated calcite is also lustrous, transparent and makes for a fantastic contrasting background! There is no damage except for the usual peripheral contacts. All crystals are in very best condition!
This is no ordinary amethyst specimen like the ones from Brazil or Uruguay but it sparkles with blood red hematitet inclusions just below the surface. Amethyst of the "Thunder Bay style" is exceptionally beautiful for the strong colors: intensive purple amethyst studded with deep red hematite! The inclusions on this specimen are especially rich and fill up almost all of the pyramidal quartz crystals. Around the periphery where it is broken you can nicely see the different color zones. White at the bottom, intensively purple on the upper half and with a thin zone of red hematite. The surface shows wet-look luster and is mesmerizingly beautiful! The Moon Light mine is one of the lesser know localities at Thunder Bay - there is no public collecting allowed there - but this specimen has the absolutely top quality!
A strikingly beautiful paragenesis of malachite, quartz and paratacamite! The rock matrix is covered in a layer of white quartz from which a number of isolated malachite bunches stand out. Atop all of this is a second generation of quartz that covers the whole surface in a sparkling and attractive way! Single paratacamite crystals are found here and there, the largest of which is close to 5 mm in diameter. There is no damage anywhere!
This gorgeous specimen is composed of a sharply developed and color-intensive amethyst sceptre head on a comparatively large quartz body. The body is translucent with chloritization and hematite microcrystals at the backside. The amethyst contrasts both in color and in quality. It is transparent, sharp and shows dark purple color.
This is a particularly beautiful and elegant apatite specimen that features glassy apatites on a matrix of snow-white pericline with silvery grey chlorite. The crystals reach up to 1.2 cm in diameter and are perfectly transparent, well developed, lustrous and flawless. The arrangement might seem a bit muddled on the picture but is much clearer in person when you see the three-dimensional shape, the sparkling luster and the contrast. This fine specimen was found at the remote summit region of Großer Finagl from where it found its way to us in fantastic condition all around!
This little floater specimen of pericline and chlorite holds a single 1.4 cm titanite crystal. It's a doubly terminated twin crystal of nice olive green color! The whole specimen is in very best condition. The crystal has a hardly discernible ding at the side but both tips are just perfect. Absolutely nice and beautiful!
This thumbnail specimen features a number of apple green titanite crystals as well as some white apatite on a contrasting dark chlorite matrix. The largest titanite at the top is 1.5 cm long, sharp and transparent and undamaged. Several other crystals are distibutet over all sides of the small matrix piece and show equally good quality. Below the main titanite you can see a nice glassy apatite, close to 1 cm long and of superb quality.
