Enargite is a rare species, particularly for the Huanzala Mine which is best known for its superb pyrite specimens and great fluorite. The short prismatic crystals are of metallic grey color with some rust brown coating and minimal weathering. Between the enargite is some pyrite, sparkling golden microcrystals. The overall aesthetics of this rare specimen is just great with no visible damage anywhere!

Diopside from this locale is well known but this specimen about doubles the size of what's possible! With over 10 cm in length and intensive forest green color this crystal is a real stunner. The elongated crystal is highly lustrous from bottom to top with a nice pyramidal termination. It is part gemmy, part opaque but no matter how you turn it, there is always a flashy emerald green part to reflect the light! Very impressive in size and quality!

RT13 - Emerald - Sold
Leckbachrinne, Habachtal, Pinzgau, Salzburg, Austria
Size: 6.7 x 6.5 x 4.2 cm

Very characteristic for the famous Leckbackrinne in Habachtal this specimen presents a great contrast of silvery mica schist and a single, intensively green and gemmy emerald. The crystal is 1.3 x 0.8 cm in size and shows a nice ocean green color. It is not terminated but not damaged either. The prism faces are sharp and lustrous. While it might not be the most spectacular piece it sure is a nice collection piece from Europe's best locality for emerald crystals!

GX434 - Brookite - 385€
Kharan, Kharan District, Balochistan, Pakistan
Size: 2.8 x 1.2 x 1.1 cm

This little jewel impresses with stunning quality and beauty! The brookite is well developed, sharp, lustrous and with a gemmy deep red color that is absolutely outstanding and much more appealing than the usual brown crystals! The main brookite is doubly terminated and accompanied by a smaller crystal and some quartz around the base. A small ding on the edge greatly reduces the price on this otherwise amazing little specimen!

RD138 - Emerald - 3200€
Nova Era, Iron Quadrangle, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Size: 2.8 x 2.2 x 1.6 cm

This is a very nice thumbnail specimen of emerald on matrix from Nova Era. The locale is not quite known for specimen quality material as most finds only produced big unappealing chunks. This specimen however is an exception!
The 1.7 cm long and 1.5 cm thick single emerald crystal is set on a characteristic black biotite-graphite schist matrix which provides a wonderful contrast to the crystal. The emerald itself is gemmy and intensively green and shows a well defined hexagonal prism. The termination is has two intergrown smaller emeralds stacked upon it, all of which is well crystallized and undamaged. It’s for sure an exceptional piece from Nova Era!

AC05 - Tourmaline - 2200€

This lovely sky-blue single crystal tourmaline has quite the presence, supported through glassy quality, luster and most importantly the intriguing termination. Like a crown atop the otherwise uniform crystal the termination is of intensive pink color with a complex architecture and best gemmy quality! The whole specimen is in best condition and really an attractive beauty!

RS553 - Pericline - 360€
Grieswies, Rauris, Pinzgau, Salzburg, Austria
Size: 9.8 x 6.8 x 2.4 cm

A floater specimen of cream-white pericline with a single quartz crystal that stands up at the top. The pericline is in best condition all around, the quartz has a hardly visible chip at the tip. At some spots there are small rutile needles which is characteristic for the locale in the rear part of the Rauris valley. A very nicely crystallized specimen in best condition!

This is a wonderful exemplar of the rare mineral bastnäsite. The crystal shows a satiated oragnge-brown color and is limpid. The termination is complete and undamaged. Also the bottom is crystallized and despite a contact at the lower backside there is nothing to worry about at this specimen. A rare marvel of superb quality!

FB42 - Hematite with Quartz - 1800€
Elba Island, Livorno Province, Tuscany, Italy
Size: 7.1 x 6.7 x 4.6 cm

Elba Island is one of the great classical localities of Europe and has produce a great many different minerals over the centuries. While, as type locality of elbaite, Elba is primarily known for fine tourmaline specimens, many other great mineral specimens have been unearthed here. This pristine hematite, embedded in a nest of fine white quartz, is a shiny example for a recent find producing such high quality classics. The main crystal is like a dark, shiny pearl, aesthetically centered between white quartz needles and a massy black hematite slab. The metallic luster has a red tinge to it, revealed at closer inspection under direct downlight. This is a great hematite specimen that is in overall well condition. Yes, there is a dinge at the main crystal (not as dramatic as it might look at first glance) that drops the price here but if you can live with that, you will be delighted by the excellent aesthetics of this wonderful piece!

LU1 - Tourmaline with Quartz and Feldspar - 4800€
Paprok, Nuristan Province, Afghanistan
Size: 8.2 x 6.1 x 5 cm

This tourmaline is embedded in a single translucent quartz crystal of some yellowish color that very much emphasizes the multicolor tourmaline! It is 6 cm long and displays fine color zoning from bottom to top: The lower third is a very dark green or blue. The middle section turns from apple-green to white and pink. Top third is a bright turquois, completely gemmy and almost free of internal cracks. The whole crystal is lustous and charming with a superb pointed termination. There is no damage to be reported. Cracks in the tourmaline are held together by the quartz protects the crystal and keeps it whole. Unusual, distinctive and beautiful as a piece of art!

CA778 - Vanadinite - 8700€
Mibladen, Midelt, Khenifra Province, Morocco

This piece is really something special for the material that shows brilliant, sharp and gemmy strawberry red crystals with superb luster! The whole specimen is complete and undamaged with crystals richly distributed about front, back and just everywhere in between! The matrix is a solid rock that is partly covered in white barite which is a very attractive background for the gemmy vanadinite crystals!
Among the many pieces that have come from the locale in Mibladen in Morocco, this really stands out for its exceptionally high quality and the beautiful aesthetics!
