SK40 - Sphalerite on Quartz - 1900€
Herja Mine, Chiuzbaia, Baia Mare, Maramures Co., Romania
Size: 10.8 x 7.2 x 6.1 cm
Watch Video

Five elongated quartz crystals are fanning out like shiny white fingers. Especially the largest crystal is heavily supported by black sphalerite which provides the perfect contrast and spectacular aesthetics! The single quartz fingers are at closer inspection clusters of hundreds of small crystals which makes for a fantastically lovely surface. A sparkling, 3-dimensional sculpture that is perfect on all sides and rich in so many beautiful details!

HW28 - Quartz Sceptre - 150€
Wurtenkees, Innerfragant, Hohe Tauern, Carinthia, Austria
Size: 3.3 x 1.7 x 1.2 cm

It's a sceptre quartz specimen of distinctive design and very nice quality! The asymmetric head is lustrous and sharp and set on a stem that is only slightly less lustrous but also completely transparent. The condition is overall very good with only a tiny, hardly visible ding at the tip.

QO864 - Tetrahedrite on Quartz - 1850€
Casapalca Mine, Chicla District, Huarochirí Province, Lima, Peru
Size: 10.4 x 7.5 x 5.7 cm

Tetrahedrite with quartz and galena from the lesser known Casapalca Mine in Peru. It has crystals up to 3.7 cm on edge which is quite stunning for the material! The whole specimen is in exceptional condition and even the bottom is fully crystallized with white quartz. The dark grey tetrahedrite has a layer of microscopic chalcopyrite and small calcites which adds a nice sparkling effect. This is certainly an exceptionally good specimen for the material.

BR08 - Fluorite - 600€
Berbes Mining area, Ribadesella, Asturias, Spain
Size: 8.5 x 6.9 x 4.5 cm

This fluorite is pretty untypical for the location and actually I was surprised when I saw it the first time. Though, I had no other idea on my own! I got this in trade from Martin Gruell, a well-known and educated collector of fluorites in Austria, who has confirmd the location. It has great aesthetics and shows very intense purple color under lights! Except a small contact, it is pristine all around!

SO98 - Stibnite on Barite - 650€
Cisma Mine, Baiu?, Maramure? Co., Romania
Size: 9.3 x 5.7 x 4.2 cm
Watch Video

The thick, blocky stibnite crystals on this specimen are quite characteristic for the Cisma Mine. Still, this classic old European piece has exceptionally fine aesthetics. The metallic black stibnite is gracefully arranged on a contrasting white barite matrix of perfect proportion. While the backside is somewhat contacted, the front is completely unharmed and nicely crystallized all over. Very 3-dimensional and statuesque!

PB160 - Pyrite with Galena - 680€
Huanzala Mine, Huallanca, Bolognesi Province, Áncash, Peru
Size: 6.5 x 6.5 x 3.5 cm
Watch Video

A nicely balanced combination of pyrite and galena that stands out in a very beautiful and aesthetic way. Holding it in hands it immediately emanates a worthy feeling of high quality and appealing looks. While the golden pyrite is straight and harmonic, the galena is excessively modified and magnificently fascinating. Smaller white calcite crystals are adding nice accents. This specimen has no visible damage at all. An incredibly nice choice!

JS391 - Tourmaline - 3200€
Himalaya Mine, Gem Hill, Mesa Grande District, San Diego Co., California, USA
Size: 6.2 x 1.3 x 0.9 cm
Watch Video

This one is a very special crystal from the Himalaya Mine that shows best open color! The tourmaline is intensively pink and gemmy with a small smoky quartz side-crystal that provides a great contrast! Fascinating enough this smoky quartz is doubly terminated and all perfect! The tourmaline itself also is in best condition and very well designed with a pointed pyramidal termination, emphasized by a sudden color-change from pink to white. This fine specimen has quite a history as it has been in the collections of Bill Larson and Fabian Wildfang for many years!

WB292 - Calcite - 130€
Ritterkopf, Rauris, Pinzgau, Salzburg, Austria
Size: 7.3 x 6.5 x 3.7 cm
Watch Video

This group of white calcite crystals was found at the Ritterkopf massiv below the Glockkaserkar. It's a fine locality piece with interlocked crystals up to 2.8 cm with good clarity and nice waxy luster. There are minimal peripheral contacts and a small damage but most crystals are complete. In the video you can see how the backside is all natural.

TT112 - Azurite and Malachite - 1250€
M'Ssici, Alnif County, Tinghir Province, Souss-Massa-Draâ Region, Morocco
Size: 14 x 9.6 x 6.2 cm
Watch Video

This type of azurite growth is rather untypical and rare but also quite charming and intriguing! The azurite has grown in a stalagmite-like fashion on a quartz matrix. Partly the azurite has been pseudomorph replaced by malachite which emphasizes the three-dimensional character as you can very well see in our video. The piece has been found around the year 2010 and has been in a French collection until we were able to purchase it. There is no damage present and even most of the underside is crystallized.

TV790 - Copper - 950€
Itauz Mine, Zhilandy group, Satpayev, Karaganda Region, Kazakhstan
Size: 9.7 x 6.5 x 2.2 cm
Watch Video

The unusual aesthetics of this specimen reminds me of a leaf that got caught on a rocky cliff. The thin arboresque copper is exceptionally well formed, shows a reddish coppery color and no damage.
Ex Thomas Weiland collection.

DI358 - Celestine - 2100€
Laman celestine deposit, Qala e Naw District, Badghis, Afghanistan
Size: 7 x 6 x 3.5 cm
Watch Video

This celestine is from a new find that has produced a moderate number of fine celestine specimens. This piece has a total size of 7 cm and shows a main crystal with a size of 4.1 x 2,6 cm. Especially the intense blue color of the coelestin, which stands out against the yellowish background, is very appealing here.
The crystals are shiny, partly transparent and sharp-edged. The main view doesn't show any damage or even abrasions. Only the underside of the lower side-crystal is contacted but you don't see that from the front. In our video you can see the aesthetics and quality very nicely! Without a doubt, one of the more beautiful pieces we have seen of the find so far!

XY11 - Smoky Quartz with Adularia - 420€
Val Giuv, Tujetsch, Vorderrhein Valley, Graubünden, Switzerland
Size: 7.5 x 6.2 x 4.2 cm

A great combination of two quartz crystals, brotherly standing side by side, encompassed by multiple white adularia crystals. This whole specimen is in exceptional condition with just some microscopic edgewear on the smaller crystal and one or two contacts. Even the bottom is crystallized and a beautiful, sparkling view. With two main crystals of finest quality and many beautifully contrasting adularia, this is a magnificent piece!
