It is extremely hard to find good colorless quartz gwindel as most of gwindels show at least some faint smoky color. But this one doesn't and it is just great in composition and quality! The gwindel sits on a small piece of grey-brown matrix and is accompanied by several smaller side-crystals. There is a contacted spot at the lower front but which does not disturb at all. The trapezoid shape tapers to a only 1.5 cm broad termination which leads to a very distinct twist at the upper part. The gwindel body is water-clear with a beautifully structured, lustrous surface. Concerning the condition of this fantastic specimen I can say that you would need a loup to identify the tiny ding at the termination that anyway is only visible from the backside. Absolutely brilliant and extremely rare in such high quality and excellent aesthetics!

A beautifully developed single pyrite crystal on a matrix of glassy white quartz and some sharp metallic tetrahedrite at the lower back. The unchallanged main attraction here is the pyrite, measuring 2.8 cm on edge. It shows wonderful bevelled edges, distinct striations and a great golden luster. The backside is studded with small, very sharp tetrahedrite crystals. There is no damage on the main crystal, only a small crack at the side. A nice miniature that especially lives from the relatively large end especially well developed pyrite crystal.
