A very dark, almost black example for richterite, an extremely rare amphibole group silicate. It is a very sharp, slender single crystal with a perfect termination. Some abrasions are present but no actual damage. A rare piece from an uncommon locale.

Several single isolated "snow flakes" of cerussite are distributet about both front and backside of this crystal studded grey matrix. There are some undeniable damages here and there but if you put it in the right angle those are hardly visible and don't disturb the attractive character of this classic piece. Nice quality cerussite on a contrasting matrix.

I have seen a few of fine augelite specimen lately, but not one who had as many high quality augelite crystals on it as this one. The quartz-matrix with hundreds of glassy and flawless crystals is literally crowded with sharp, gemmy augelite crystals of fresh and juicy green coloring. The distribution of those crystals vaguely reminds me of a christmas tree, with green branches drawn on a general delta-shape. There's not much to say about the condition, as this floater-piece that shows no damage at all. A real stunner of 3-dimensional character and exceptional sparkling luster!

Nice little cluster of rhomb-dodecahedral cuprite the largest of which has a diamteter of 1.3 cm. The crystals are dark but show the characteristic fire red color when provided with direct backlight. The specimen shows some chloritization but is in rather good shape in general. Our video provides a good look on all details!

A lovely little paragenesis of quartz, hematite, schorl, feldspar and some limonite. The quartz is attached to a flat piece of matrix, consisting of feldspar and quartz micro-crystals. The backside is rich with black schorl as you can see in the second picture and the video. The front has a cluster of iron-roses and some orange limonite. A very nice composition altogether!

A single floater crystal of great transparent quality. As usual for brazilian kunzite this one is etched and rounded on all sides. Still where it is not so heavily etched you see characteristic 90° angles and good vitreous luster. The pinkish-purple color is intense throughout the whole crystal and shines in low room light. Lovely, gemmy and in great condition, this is a fine kunzite spezimen from the Doce Valley.

Black calcite from Herja is a unique and utterly appealing mineral variety. Especially unusual are the sharply zoned half-white, half-black specimens like this one. It is a complete floater, nicely shaped of stacked, flattened calcite crystals and shows the distinctive color change. The black color is due to inclusions of boulangerite and jamesonite which is unique for the locale. There is some minor edgewear present but all in all this piece is in great condition with no actual damage. An eye-catcher for any collection of classic European minerals!

RT17 - Hematite with Rutile and Quartz - Sold

This hematite plate confidently sits ond a grey piece of matrix, elevated, prominent and accompanied by doubly terminated, clear quartz. The hematite is well emphasized by the stark contrast and the mirroring luster of its lovely structured surface. The main hematite plate has a staggering 3.5 cm in diameter and is, to crown it all, studded with fire red rutile. At some spots on the backside there are older contacts visible but there is no damage to be found anywhere on this piece. A gorgeous specimen from Cavradi, famous for high quality minerals specimens!

Not exactly Alpine, this cut Amethyst comes from Maissau in the northern part of Austria which is geologically part of the Bohemian Massif. Maissau counts among the worlds largest accessible Amethyst veins but as there is no active mining there it is hard to come by collectible pieces. This is a rare cut and polished amethyst of considerable size for the locale with brilliant glassy quality. Different color zonations from light to dark purple and some brownish yellow zones make an astonishingly beautifuly picture. Very attractive and rare!

OK50 - Wulfenite - Sold

Size: 5 x 3.9 x 3.2 cm

Like shards of intensive orange glass these wulfenite crystals stick in a brittle, clay-colored piece of matrix. Chaotic yet sculpturesque and of highest San Francisco Mine quality. All crystals are gemmy clear like windowpanes with bevelled edges. There is very minimal damage present, nothing you would have to worry about. The overall visual impact is just great with a particularly pronounced 3rd dimension as our video clearly shows. Lovely and very catchy!

This is a pristine doubly terminated smoky quartz crystal that shows best luster at the frontside - the backside is somewhat more dull but still good - and some sparkling association of mica and smaller quartz crystals. There is no damage to speak of only microscopic abrasions at the termination. A truly brilliant specimen of excellent aesthetics and superb quality!
