Smothsonite certainly count among the major mineral species for which Tsumeb is famous and has produced some of the best specimens worldwide. This small piece of rock matrix is studded with pink smithsonite rhombohedrons, the largest of which are just under a centimeter in diameter. The combination of those smithsonites on the sparkling matrix is really just gorgeous and there is no damage to be seen. An adorable specimen for sure!

Size: 6.2 x 4.6 x 3.5 cm

WOW, what a stunning group of two gwindels and one regular smoky quartz forming this great specimen. I have never seen such a combination in the past. This specimen comes from the recent find made this summer in Val Giuv and it is one of the best specimens from this pocket. The bottom side of this group is completely rehealed, while many of the other specimens are heavily damaged at the base. The crystals are translucent and show the typical bright smoky color which is well known for this locale. It is very lustrous with sharp edges and it is very 3-dimensional in person. The amazing aesthetics of this specimen in combination with the beautiful quality makes this group really extraordinary. A gorup like this is much more rare then a sinlge gwindel, what makes it to a big challenge to get one like this. Comes mounted on a custom base for display.

When it comes to Alpine emerald, the location of Habachtal is on everyone’s lips. Still, there have not been much high-quality specimens found in the last years. This specimen is one of the older pieces, offering great color and clarity on two emerald crystals, the bigger of which is 1.1 cm long. The typical silvery sparkling matrix perfects the picture of this very nice specimen.

This beautiful quartz holds a terrific phantom inside its glassy body. The fantastic thing about it is that you can view the chlorite phantom literally from all sides as the quartz has no crack and no cloudy regions. Accompanied by a smaller quartz at the side, this crystal impresses with many details and a nice combination of colors at surface and innards. The crystal has one chip at the tip, but is cheaper therefore and still a real jewel!
