This combination of fluorite, pyrite, quartz and some calcite is uniquely graceful! The perfect contrast underlines the bright purple color of this lustrous and clear fluorite. Supported by sparkling pyrite cubes and white quartz and calcite the appearance of this specimen is just dramatic. This piece is even a floater and thus beautifully crystallized on all sides. This piece was in the collection of Paul Geffner and we are happy to offer a piece of such a fantastic composition!

What astoundingly reminds of a gnarly white tree on a hill is in fact a gorgeous piece of aragonite that shows no damage all around. A freely protruding branch with a totally unique character. Having been found at the classic locale of Erzberg, Austria, this specimen is more than just an eye-catcher of exceptional aesthetics, but a worthy piece for any Alpine collection!

This piece is absolutely spectacular! One single tourmaline, 6.6 cm long and 0.8 cm thick, protrudes from a massive and beautiful mica-matrix. The tourmaline holds breathtaking deep green color, fantastic luster and is gemmy through and through. Speaking about damage is beside the point at a piece like this, which is not even repaired - an incredible fact, considering the length of the freely towering crystal!

Schwatzite, a mercurian variety of Tetrahedrite was originally discovered at this very locale, a large old mining district in Tyrol. This specimen is a typical representative for the kind and quality of this rare mineral. Several crystals are perched on a platy piece of matrix. Some accessory malachite adds color to this otherwise grey and metallic piece. The larges schwatzite crystal is around 1 cm in diameter and of typical tetrahedral habit. All crystals are in perfect shape and flawless.

Typical for Serifos Island, this specimen of Prase offers a very nice green color and a great composition. A group of three main crystals protrudes from a rich base of side-crystals. The whole piece is rather 3-dimensional and lively with translucent elongated crystals with pointed terminations that are all free of any damage. As the search for minerals has meanwhile been prohibited at Serifos Island there are no new specimens comming for quite some time now. Perfect in quality and aesthetics, this specimen has no flaws whatsoever and is a great example for this rare green variety of quartz. Very nice in person!

I do love the well balanced composition of this classic calcite and sphalerite specimen! One single sharp calcite is set on a nicely crystallized matrix of massive sphalerite. The calcite is transparent and near-colorless with an light orange tinge. It is a bit rought towards the termination but which is contact induced. Apart from that it's sharp and well developed. Very sharp and aesthetic specimen in great condition!

This is a lovely and highly aesthetic piece of barite on matrix. Most crystals are in perfect condition, clear and nicely arranged. One barite plate at the left front has been obstructed in growth by another plate comming from the back. This second one is broken, which but is the only damage on this piece and not visible from the front. The tabular, yellow barite crystals are clear as window panes and pretty all around. Pinkish matrix provides a nice contrast for this charming piece.

There are so many aspects for which you could love this piece that I stopped counting. Most obvious is the 6.8 cm doubly terminated and flawless quartz crystal. Brilliantly lustrous faces on all sides are enclosing a lovely play of inclusions - chlorite and what we presume must be hematite. The glassy quartz even permits a look on the matrix at the very bottom. At the side you see a cluster of weathered brown siderite which adds a beautiful contrast to the aesthetics of this specimen. At closer view you find smaller rutile crystals attached to the siderite. Small quartz side-crystals round out the picture and make this a marvelous piece all around!

The Berg Aukas Mine in Namibia is without question the best locale for crystallized descloizite world-wide. This is a sharp specimen of metallic luster and dark amber brown color at backlight illumination. The crystals have the typical spearpoint terminations with sawtooth edges and are up to 1.7 cm long. This fine descloizite is an excellent little statue of great character, much more 3-dimensional in person and in fine condition.

Large scalenohedral, milky calcite crystals are artfully arranged in a star-shape, set on a grey and copper-green matrix, dotted with small white calcites. The calcites are in best condition, translucent and in very well defined shape. A distinctive eye-catcher from the basaltic terrain of Iraí.

Unusually bright golden color and a vivid sheen are most intriguing attributes of this remarkably well shaped gold specimen from Pontes e Lacerda. It shows an intertwined structure of skeletal growth with several nicely defined crystals on an elongated, elegant shape. This fine gold specimen is out of a completely new find from 2015 that has rapidly made a name for itself as a source for world class gold specimens. By now the site has been closed by police forces and a new supply of such high class gold is not expected. This is a completely undamaged attractive specimen all around that shows a dramatic quality and yellow color that is only characteristic for this fabulous find and superior to just about anything we have seen so far from Brazil!

This heavily etched topaz crystal is absolutely breathtaking! Completely gemmy, flawless all over and doubly terminated. While the shape reminds me almost of heliodor from Volodarsk, the beautiful champagne color is characteristic for topaz from Dassu. An incredibly well shaped and water-clear single crystal with not a single crack or impurity. Not much to say, I strongly recommend a look on our video, where you can see the full splendor in motion!
