Size: 6.7 x 6.1 x 4 cm
Watch Video

Hardly do you see specimens of such perfect textbook aesthetics! A "V"-shape of quartz covered white barite presents a play of purple fluorite cubes and short prismatic transparent quartz. Like the barite, the fluorite is completely covered in sparkling quartz which adds a just lovely effect. The backside is all complete and flawless with only a small contact at the bottom, where it detached from the rock. A pristine piece of exceptional aesthetics that is free of even the slightest damage. Absolutely amazing!

SO111 - Datolite on Quartz - 4200€
Bor Pit, Dal'negorsk, Kavalerovo Mining District, Primorskiy Kray, Russia
Size: 18.3 x 12.7 x 7.7 cm
Watch Video

The shape of this datolite/quartz combination is extremely rare and in an untamed and chaotic way very aesthetic! A rather large pastel green and lustrous datolite crystal, 5.2 cm across, sits amid a "V" shaped array of unusual quartz crystals. The weird quartz shape that gives the impression of shifted layers results from intergrown calcite that dissolved later on. The whole piece is in exceptional condition and shows a number of smaller datolite crystals on all sides. Dal'negorsk is known as the worlds best locality for specimen-quality datolite which is clear when you see this fantastic and utterly unique specimen!

Watch Video

A single, absolutely brilliant fluorite cube of lovely quality and color sits on a decent muscovite covered matrix. The crystal is of light blue color with a distinct purple phantom. It is in near perfect condition with only very minor edgwear at one of the edges. I love this very clear picture of one single isolated, well developed crystal on matrix. Highly aesthetic and elegant in person!

FA334 - Zoisite - 7500€
Merelani Mine, Arusha, Tanzania
Size: 3.7 x 2 x 1.5 cm
Watch Video

A excellent specimen of "yellow tanzanite" as this exceedingly rare variety is often called. The color is an intensive greenish yellow, the surface is sparkling and nicely striated with a sharp termination. The lower parts of the crystal are a little clouded but it is getting clearer and gemmier the further up you look. A striking piece in person! Some of the edges are chipped but the characteristic crystal habit is all complete and very catchy.
An appealing and striking example of this very rare zoisite variety as you can very well see in our video!

RK383 - Londonite - 240€
Ampanivana pegmatite, Betafo District, Vakinankaratra Region, Antananarivo Province, Madagascar
Size: 3 x 2.3 x 2 cm
Watch Video

This rare mineral, named after David London, professor of geology and geophysics at the University of Oklahoma, is the cesium-dominant analogue of rhodizite. All major finds worldwide occured in Madagascar where also this fine specimen origins. The single lemon-yellow translucent crystal with a greenish core is an irregular mixed crystal of rhomb-dodecahedron and deltoid-dodecahedral. It is a flawless floater that is striking in its simplicity. A fine example of a very rare mineral out of a unique 2015 find!

This is an exceptionally aesthetic combination piece! It is a brilliant paragenesis of green apophyllite and skin-colored stilbite on a large transparent calcite that again sits on a greenish black matrix. This combination is exceedingly rare from Wagholi, especially in such lovely form. All crystals are sharp and gemmy with no damage anywhere. Even the backside of this specimen is crystallized and obviously not broken or trimmed. SO103 - Fluorite - 1750€
Annaberg, Erzgebirge, Saxony, Germany
Size: 4.9 x 4 x 2.5 cm
Watch Video

The unusual color combination of this aesthetic fluorite specimen is quite intriguing especially when lit from the back which brings out the intensive purple phantoms that rest inside these honey-yellow fluorite cubes. This is a formation of several stacked cubes of fine translucent quality. The sides are contacted but not broken. The bottom is re-healed. There is some edgewear present but nothing of greater concern. This is a piece of brilliant colors, captured in high quality crystals that shine even in low light. At the faces there is some accessory chalcopyrite to add some accents. A very much appealing piece in person!

FJ10 - Spessartine - 4800€
Navegadora claim, Conselheiro Pena, Doce valley, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Size: 7 x 5.6 x 4.6 cm
Watch Video

Incredible, juicy, cranberry-red color radiates from this fine specimen even at low light, waiting to explode at direct illumination. The massive crystal is quite dark due to its thickness and some internal cracks but downlight definitely does the trick and reveals the gemmy blood-red crystal!
The spessartine is a complete floater and associated with some quartz, muscovite and white feldspar, probably cleavelandite. It is an exceptional piece that shows the fantastic quality the Navegadora claim is famous for. Even at close inspection I could fine only one small chip at the side, not more than 5 mm long and almost impossible to detect. This is a great, massive spessartine of superb aesthetics that exists only to present its beautiful surface structure and incredible red color!

GA12 - Gold - 1750€
Serra do Caldeirão, Pontes e Lacerda, Mato Grosso, Brazil
Size: 2.9 x 1.1 x 1 cm
Watch Video

A thumbnail specimen from the legendary finds in Pontes e Lacerda that strikes with its rather unusual shape, featuring particularly sharp crystals! Shaped like a twig this piece appears all organic and lovely in a 3-dimensional way. Color and luster are well enough though I have admittedly seen better. The sharp crystals on the other hand are exceptional and as there is no damage or contact. This is a spotless choice from this outstanding locale!

The tourmaline is nicely attached to a translucent white quartz making for pure textbook aesthetics. This nice piece is out of a find in Bevoandrano pegmatite, Madagascar. The piece is complete all around with a re-healed bottom and a perfect slanted termination. Even at low light this specimen cuts a fine figure but the direct backlight releases a flash of bright green. A fantastic piece of comfy hand-size and brilliant quality!
