This kind of combination is exceedingly rare and only known from this very location! A brilliant single quartz crystal is embedded in a nest of snow-white and sparkling adularia that is partly covered in dark green chlorite. The piece is a complete floater of incredible aesthetics! The adularia forms a vug-like structure with chlorite and quartz assembled at the inside. The quartz has a sharp pointed termination and is glassy with a vivid internal landscape of inclusions.
The whole piece is free of any damage and absolutely gorgeous in person! Have a look on our video for a better impression!
Fluorite from Weißeck are particularly admired for their beauty, the uncommon color and the rareness. As many Weißeck specimens this fluorite changes the color depending on the illumination: the purple you can see on the picture and the video changes to a deep ocean-blue when exposed to white light!
All crystals are nicely developed, transparent and lustrous, especially on the main view. Save for one small contacted patch at the bottom this piece is all crystallized, well developed and free of damage!
It was found at the summit area in the local permafrost soil where it was protected from humid acid etchings and thus kept its luster!
An unusually fine sceptre quartz floater that shows great luster on all sides! The quartz is all very well developed and translucent to even transparent especially around the terminations! The whole specimen is in very good condition with only a few small, hardly perceptible issues. A uniquely composed piece that is rich in details and very attractive in person!
Rather large and virtually flawless, this is an unusually fine apatite specimen from the Zillertal Alps. Apart from size and the uncommon locale, the most special aspect about this apatite is the striking surface structure. While the front is smooth, the backside is covered with little immersions, probably the imprints of little adularia crystals.
The shape is that of a evenly flat tile with bevelled edges. The bottom, where it detatched from the matrix, is completely re-crystallized. The crystals body is transparent with white, smoke-like patterns. Exceptional, beautiful and extremely rare!
A perfect and flawless single quartz crystal with a beautiful 3-dimensional black phantom at the inside. The quartz itself is glassy with good luster and some chlorite crust at the backside. The broad front face provides an exceptionally good view at the phantom which makes this a rare and very much appealing specimen!
This titanite is something very unusual!
It is a rather large and sharp, arrow-head shaped titanite that is absolutely outstanding if not unique for the locale! The crystal is a floater that shows superb luster on all sides. At the back it has a white pericline crystal, encrusted in some chlorite. With no damage, distinctive shape and a wonderful combination of green and brown color this is an overall great piece from a very uncommon locale!
This thumbnail hematite specimen is absolutely brilliant on both sides and completely free of damage! The lovely developed rosette of stacked hematite plates forms a sparkling miracle of utter beauty! The bottom is contacted but not broken!
Atop the front face you can find some small quartz crystals which add a little more live to this specimen. Absolutely gorgeous in person!
A distinctive floater specimen of transparent to white quartz with beautiful green chlorite phantoms inside. The quartz is arranged as three "fingers" with a couple of smaller side-crystals and extensive backside chloritisation around the center. The piece is overall in very good condition with some minor issues along the terminations. A striking quartz specimen from the rather uncommon locale!
Marvelous, blinding luster mirrors the light like a disco ball - much better than the picture can possibly show!
This piece is a real stunner that shows no damage or contacts at all. The backside is encrusted with some chlorite but even that does not completely obscure the brilliant quality of this hematite specimen. At the lower right there is a small glassy quartz crystal that is evenly perfect with a crystallized bottom.
Lovely aesthetics meets superb quality!
The color of this smoky quartz is a charming warm brown of just the right intensity to not disturb the view through the glassy crystal body. The main crystal is a doubly terminated prism with sharp, pointed terminations. It is accompanied by several side-crystals and lies on a small piece of matrix that is completely crystallized on the backside. Being free of any damage, this is a marvelous piece of Swiss smoky quartz!
It's 2 cm thick, perfect all around and with a charming waxy cream-color that shines from the translucent crystal! At the base of the main crystal is a cluster of smaller crystals as well as some matrix and minimal adularia. The main adularia is chloritized around the corners, just in the right amount to boost the aesthetics but not cloud the fascinating clarity of the crystal. The bottom is to the very largest part crystallized and evenly perfect.
A magnificent adularia specimen of high perfection and very attractive aesthetics!
Found in the world's best strontianite-locale this little ball of strontium carbonate shows lovely stepped crystallization and best luster on all sides. As a perfect floater it shows no damage or contacts anywhere. The color is characteristic for the mineral, a gentle skin color, radiating from the translucent crystals inside! A superb specimen of this rare mineral!
