This is a high quality specimen from the famous finds at Khoroshiv (better known by its old name Volodarsk-Volynskii). It shows very characteristic etchings all around which provides a highly attractive shape. The heliodor is all gemmy and has a nice luster. There is some hard to identify edge-wear present but overall the condition is very good from bottom to top!
This liddicoatite from the rich pegmatite fields of Madagascar is a complete floater that's crystallize on top and bottom with some white feldspar loosely distributed over all surfaces. The crystal is translucent and when provided with some backlight it reveals a beautiful strawberry red upper half, while the lower half has some apple green patches too. In picture 1 you can see the crystal with artificial backligth, picture 2 shows it in natural light only. A great single crystal of superb natural appearance and in outstanding condition!
A pack of gemmy intergrown crystals with extremely sharp and well defined terminations and very best luster! Our video nicely shows the brilliant quality of this superb little specimen!
Hundreds and hundreds of cubical pyrite crystals with shiny golden luster reflect the light like a shattered mirrow! The longest dimension of this huge specimen is around 27 cm which means this specimen will never get lost in your showcase! Fascinating enough it is even crystallized at the back where you also can find some quartz. Around the periphery there is some contact but most is crystallized and fine. Sure, there are som minor abrasions here and there but on a heavy piece like this that is unavoidable. Very fine specimen of huge impact and best golden quality!
A miniature specimen of sharp apple green augelite with glassy quartz needles. With top quality, best condition and a very nice association this is a lovely example for the important augelite finds at the Mundo Nuevo mine.
This is a distinctly 3-dimensional and very unique tourmaline cluster! One pink tourmaline with a flat termination is base for a group of two colored tourmalines with pyramidal terminations, protruding almost 90° to the front, right towards the beholder! These tourmalines are pink at the bottom and change color to a light blue only to have another pink zone at the termination. They are all very clear at the inside, show great luster and impressive terminations!
All the lower parts and connections at this piece are veiled by purple lepidolite. The whole piece is just flawless and highly aesthetic in person!
A characteristic specimen of spessartine on feldspar that offers great contrast and sparkling gem red crystals. The largest garnets are a little over 1 cm in diameter, sharp and lustrous as are the other crystals covering the feldspar matrix. The crystals offer intensive blood-red color and very well developed shape.
Without doubt Tomas Range is the world's best locality for specimen quality bixbyite. Highly lustrous jet-black bixbyite cubes with distinctive modifications are well known from this locale and important on an international level!
This specimen is a highly aesthetic exemplar of two intelocked crystals on a pile of towering topaz crystals and in very best condition! A super attractive specimen for this rare mineral!
This is really impressive aesthetics! A single tourmaline of gemmy quality and intensive green color is associated with a compact quartz crystals, perched to its side. The tourmaline itself has amazing quality from bottom to top and a distinctive twin-termination. The quartz is a translucent, fully developed single crystal that adds a totally unique aspect to this specimen. It has an abrasion at the tip but which is at least partly re-healed. The tourmaline on the other hand is perfect with only a missing side-crystal at the bottom. It's an absolutely unique specimen of superb quality and outstanding design!
It's a rather massive and heavy aggregate of dark red huebnerite with some associated white quartz. The crystals are mostly too dark to illuminate but along the edges and at the protruding main crystal it is possible to shine through and highlight the gemmy red huebnerite. The piece is not quite perfect as there are some broken side-crystals. Fortunately the main crystals are terminated.
Set on a flat piece of rock matrix is a spatial composition of purple fluorite and white quartz. The fluorite comes as cubical crystals with nice clarity and great luster. It is set on a surface of sparkling quartz. Right at the center there is a dominant stack of white quartz which defines the aesthetics of this specimen.
This intriguing specimen from the unique find in Fazenda do Centro is a pure and glassy topaz weighing 1,2 kg. The shape is a combination of a sail-like, blueish structure at the front and a blocky, champagne colored part at the back. Admittedly the colors are not too strong but present nevertheless. Between those two parts there is a cleft which is fascinating for its structured, jagged surface. The backside is damaged but which are hardly visible from the front. If you can live with some imperfections, this is definitely an impressive specimen for a reasonable price.
