This is a 3-dimensional floater of typical "tunnel"-character. Lustrous, translucent white calcite is accompanied by smaller amounts of chlorite, feldspar and some tiny pyrrhotite crystals. There might be some insignificant edgewear present but you have to actually search for those tiny flaws on this otherwise striking piece. Vertically arranged this piece reminds of a sculpture, a distinct and lovely calcite specimen of high quality and unique aesthetics.

This tourmaline is absolutely gorgeous! It shows very intensive, gemmy apple green coloring with a pink "sugar crusting" over the blueish termination. The piece is complete all around with a re-healed bottom and a perfect slanted termination. The backside shows stepped growth but is free of damage as well. Even at low light this specimen cuts a fine figure but the direct backlight releases a flash of bright green. This is a brilliant example of a single tourmaline crystal, all shiny and striking in person!
